Booked a meal for 6.30..arrived to find the world and his Mother there!! the beautiful weather had bought every one out...so several dishes already sold out!..we had to wait ages for the main meal...my prawn and lobster cocktail was certainly not the best...hardly any sauce..badly presented...and the prawns had zero taste! but the chips were lovely!

Lucas was friendly and made me feel welcome and made sure I had everything. Libby was friendly and had a smile on her face when serving me and Tom as well. I would like to wow Libby Lucas Tom for great service.

Terrible service. Had to make a fifth  selection from the menu because they had ran out of everything, then had to wait 90 minutes to receive our full drink order, even after reminding several different waiters more than once that our jug of water and bottle of wine had been forgotten. Better service when you don't book a table!!

Service is slow, and the food is average, but the surroundings are very pleasant. Beautiful building, and lovely garden with water mill. Good choice of beer and nice coffee.

Rural setting with rustic look inside. Lots of space to move around so good for wheelchairs! Food excellent and well priced. Staff very accomodating and helpful
