I had a good experience here today while having afternoon tea for two. The service was great - friendly and quick - top marks to the staff. The food sandwiches, sweets, tea, coffee was also good. However, the spot does not justify the price tag. I paid a total of £160 for afternoon tea for two; for that price, I'd expect a place with great lighting, exceptional food, and exceptional drinks - this is the reason my review is 3/5 and the reason I would recommend my friends to go elsewhere for a better, exceptional experience for the same price.
Very Tiffany indeed. The Tiffany blue interior and tableware made this a fantastic Tiffany experience. Extremely friendly and engaging staff. We had Afternoon tea. Great sandwich selection and extra sandwiches offered. Delightful sweet selection, from tarts, to chocolate praline and of course a fantastic Tiffany blue Egg! Beautiful selection of teas and champagne. Scones were boxed up for us to takeaway as we couldn't finish the cake tier! A great experience for couples, mum's and daughters or a group of friends. Highly recommend especially if you want that special Tiffany touch!
The waiting staff was friendly but seemed very busy looking busy. Maybe there was some problem needing to be solved but even without all the tables being occupied I felt it was hard to get them to notice that we were ready for our next course. Which made the service a bit slow. My daughter her hightea came first so we sat there a while waiting for our hightea. My partner thought it was the high tea for all of us and just started eating it. Fortunately my daughter doesn't mind sharing her food. The applejuice wasn't very nice and neither was the hot chocolate. I felt bad for having to leave it almost untouched. But I also didn't like it. She did love the pudding, mini muffin, strawberry tartlet and fruit popsicle. The quality of the food was a bit underwhelming. Especially for the price. The sandwich with salmon looked pretty but the flavour was extremely citrussy and the texture dry. The rest of the sandwiches were nothing out of the ordinary. The sweets looked pretty and tasted fine but did not wow me. I must say I did really like the scones. A good vanilla flavour, fluffy texture and a nice crisp outside. But that unfortunately does not make up for that the rest was quite a let down. I expected more from this experience.
If you are a fan of Tiffany it is definitely worth a visit! We went there to have tea and i am a vegetarian so i was a little worried i would not have anything to eat but i told them and they adapted the sandwiches to my taste. The sandwiches were delicious and so the sweets. We had a wonderful time!
Tucked away in a corner of Harrods basement is a small eating area with an amazing name and good décor, This could have been so much better, I expected exceptional food and to indulge in a touch of luxury but unfortunately this was not the case, a breakfast for two was over £100 for a pot of tea, 2 croissants and 2 bagels. Our waiter was approachable but I noticed other waiting staff hovering. this establishment is not worthy in my opinion to trade on Tiffany's name. The whole experience was a bit of a disappointment considering if was breakfast at Tiffany's.
A very nice venue on the lower ground floor at Harrods. Although it is fairly small in size and has been beautifully decorated in the Tiffany colours and decor and is quite stylish. They offer a Dinner at Tiffany 5 course menu on Fridays and Saturdays which is very reasonably priced. All courses can be paired with wine for a supplement. We enjoyed all of the courses which included the Crispy Rock Oyster paired with a nice Albarino. Caviar is available for a supplement. The starter course of the Buffalo Burrata with Radicchio and Satsuma and Olive oil was very good as was the House bread served with an excellent Truffle butter. This course was paired with a fairly nice Cotes du Rhone. The Interim course was a choice of Confit Salmon ,Basil Risotto or Grilled Asparagus, Basil Risotto with Duck yolk. These dishes were paired with a nice Chablis. For our mains we really enjoyed the Roast of Lamb, Crispy Lamb Belly with fennel and mint and served with Broccoli which was paired with a nice Pomerol. The Lamb was very tasty and tender. The dessert was an excellent Big Apple consisting of Madagascan Vanilla and Mascaparone Chantilly and Apple composite served on a Sable base. The taste and presentation were very good. The wine pairing was a surprisingly very good Canadian Icewine. The whole meal was very good and was enhanced by the excellent service delivered by the Cafe Manager Alan and his waiting team who deserve a special mention. The ambiance was very nice with subdued background music condusive to conversation. All on all an excellent location and definitely a place I will be revisiting again. Highly recommended.
Beautiful afternoon tea place in Harrods. Good location, good quality food and our chef was really helpful and friendly. Overall, food is above the average. It’s a good place for girls day out and to have a cup of tea after shopping. Recommend.
Such a lovely place for breakfast. They have a set menu for breakfast & they also have afternoon tea I’m excited to try it next time I visit London you definitely need a reservation.
Pretty restaurant in shades of blue with attentive service received by our table waiters. I had a breakfast. Which is a three course affair. With fresh fruit. Followed by a choice of croissant which was uniquely shaped. Breakfast came with unlimited cups of tea. Some orange juice and for the main I chose poached eggs and a potato rosti which was quite nice.
I was invited to afternoon tea at Tiffany Blue Box. It was OK. The whole afternoon tea was well presented. The staff were polite, engaged and attentive. It started with a delicious raspberry and mint? granita. The fresh raspberry added the correct amount of acidity to make this divine. Why can't they sell this to take home? There was a beetroot and fennel dip, sandwiches and a crab tart. We were offered as many sandwiches and cups of tea as you could wish for. The best sandwich was the chicken sandwich yellow bread in picture They were delicious. The cucumber, in the cucumber and bland sauce sandwich, was as flavourful as my home grown heritage cucumbers. The English breakfast tea was bitter but the flowering tea was a delight. The scones... If it were not for those scones, my review would not be as favourable. For me, those scones saved an expensive very ordinary afternoon tea and made it the best part of the day. They were outstanding and you could have as many as you could eat. Even though they were served with great clotted cream and but less than stellar strawberry jam and an OK raspberry jam, nothing could detract from how delicious the scones were.
