I had lunch in the Three Tuns today. First time I've been there in a number of years due to a previous bad experience.nWe ordered tea and some lunch. The tea was served in very small coffee cups and we were given 2 small pots of tea for 3 people. We had to go back to the counter for milk. When I asked the waitress for tea cups I was told they didn't have any other cups. One of the cups had dried on ?food at the bottom of it. The tea pot also had brown staining to the outside of it. The waitress seemed friendly and helpful. The food was a very generous portion and fresh and tasty.
Food is delicious, best pub food, really gemourous portions for the price. Quite a big selection. Will definitely be visiting here again and really recommend it.nnThe fact it was wheelchair accessible , for parking getting into building and disabled toilets adds to the experience.nnSpacious well decorated very clea and tidy.nnWe had the Ham egg chips and salad. Cooked too perfection, as you can see from the photo, the eggs great for dipping chips In.nnOne of us also had the waffle, which was equally lovely. unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to grab a photo of that as it was eaten with such enthusiasm nnGreat job to staff. Thanks for the experience and excellent service.
The three meat monster plate with vegetables, for two was more than enough. The gravy was so delicious. In general I would definitely recommend it. We had tea as well.
What a wonderful evening. Just happened to pop in for the quiz night. Robyn couldn’t have been more welcoming. She pulled off a great evening after what could have been a nightmare as the place we originally booked cancelled. Safed us! Well done to Robyn and her team. 5 stars!
Excellent and very appetising food, staff are excellent, always great for food and staff are always just as good. Atmosphere is normally good. The thursday Quiz night is the best night to go for a bustling and busy atmosphere. I recommend the hunters chicken, quite a classic dish where as others recommend the chicken and mushroom pie. Both come with salad, coleslaw and triple cooked chips. Perfect with an Amstel or a Fosters and a glass of merlot.
