Delicious food nice atmosphere, very polite , caring and helpful staff. Kitchen staff prepared sausage and mash potatoes for my daughter. Delicious puddings me and my friends had a great evening last night. Thank you definitely worthy to come back
Great venue, with lots of outside space if you want to eat outside. I think table service is only offered if you eat inside the restaurant and you order your food and pay at the bar if you choose to eat outside. The Sunday roast options include gammon, beef or chicken as well as a Lamb shank served with mash. Lots of parking so no worries there. Definitely recommend a visit

Had a table booked for 7.30 a group of 5, dining area not busy but 2 of the dishes we ordered were not available. Staff pleasant but appeared to not have background knowledge of dishes on the menu. May have been a slow night but would not put me off trying again.
We had a table booked for 24 of us, the staff mainly Mandy were so helpful, polite and friendly and nothing was too much hassle. They done a fantastic job and the whole evening went smoothly with no issues at all. Food was great too. Thank you very much
What a brilliant night. A family party of 40 adults and children celebrating my daughter 21st. The food was amazing and the staff were organised and very accommodating. We had an wonderful night with no complaints. X
Fish and chips was very tasty and had the option of garden peas instead of mushy. Young lady who served us was friendly. Only down side was they had no bottled diet Coke or 7up. Didn't spoil lunch as food was great for all our party of 7
Lovely local pub & restaurant one of my favourite spots in Hertfordshire. I been brough there for fathers day by my wife and two kids and really enjoyed it. Looking forward to go again. Lovely atmosphere and staff. Chefs are doing really professional dishes. Most the time I leave pubs with half empty stomach but The three horse shoes. Woow Big dady's meal dish absolute great addition to the menu. Will definitely see you guys soon. Never hesitate to go with your family.
If I could give a lower score I would. We booked in for a lunch for 13:30. We placed our order for starters and mains, after waiting 45 minutes, we asked if our food would be much longer to which we received a shrug from the waitress who said it could take up to an hour, we explained we weren’t told this at the time it placing the order and I asked if they would be able to check and see if they could get my daughters starter sorted as she was as growing more and more hungry, she said she would check and never came back. After waiting a further 15 minutes we checked again for the child’s starter and once again we were left without any updates or communication. In the end we were told by a different waitress who wasn’t looking after our table that the initial waitress put our order through wrong which is why we were left with waiting for so long and was very apologetic but said the starters were on their way. We got fed up of waiting, so after an hour and a half of waiting for our starters we decided to leave just as they were being brought out. I then asked the waitress if we would be expected to wait a further hour for our mains to which she responded “I wouldn’t put it past them”. I said this was not good enough and asked to speak to the manager. The manager was very blasé and although she apologised, we felt very fobbed off and decided to leave.. without eating… after waiting an hour an a half for a starter and then expected to wait a further hour for our mains! I would not recommend this place, the staff seriously lacked communication skills. And although the food looked nice, I can’t comment on the food as we didn’t actually get to eat anything.
Friendly staff, ideal venue for a family gathering. Food, well priced and presented thoughtfully. We had a table for 23 and everyone enjoyed the experience
