Had a Sunday lunch here, the pub has a nice atmosphere and staff were brilliant. The trout started was superb, and the roasts were fantastic, a nice mix of vegetables and horseradish with a bit of kick. Great value for money  Food & drinks: Great food

Me and my mum had a wonderful stay. The bed is so comfy lovely room..The food was out of this world and boiling hot can not complain.. service was brilliant. Very friendly staff. Will be coming back for sure. Highly recommend.Rooms: 5/5

We ate here on Saturday night 21st Jan, overall very nice inside and welcoming, mind your head on the low ceilings we ordered 3 courses and all were very good and well prepared, the only criticism I would offer is that the starter and dessert were all lacking in temperature, deep fried brie was almost cold lacking that hot gooey goodness, the crumble and custard was barely warm, I expect to almost burn myself on an apple crumble, most restuarants advise 'careful it's hot' I really don't like thngs cold that should be hot and the almost cold custard couldn't help revive it!

Have been twice in the last three months. Service is nonchalant. We waited for over an hour on the first occasion and the staff didn’t seem troubled at all despite us asking a few times if the food was arriving. We then ordered a cold pudding and left without having it because it was taking so long. Again staff did not seem troubled at all. The pub wasn’t busy. Went again today family roasts were undercooked parsnips hard, Caesar salad main meal was small, croutons soggy and great slabs of Parmesan on lettuce and chicken wasn’t very appealing. All the food came and we had to wait for cutlery, which arrived with no forks… Not what it used to be and the be…

Great setting & rear garden, but the place needs to sort itself out. Our starter and 1 main course had to be sent back because they were uncooked / cold... service was pleasant but slow. V limited pub menu these days... what are you 3 cups? A country pub with average food, a tourist trap?... sorry, but it's all too complacent for 2022!!!Service: 2/5

Have been a few times just recently because we have just fallen in love with it today the roast was phenomenal beautifully cooked and portioned perfectly our smallest at 15 months just wanted peas and they couldn't have been more acomidationg the robbins will definitely be backService: 5/5

Room small but comfortable and very clean. Poor staffing at dinner, no plates with food for starter, no cutlery with main. Others mention limited menu choices. Good breakfast selection, but whilst stayed there before and been good, will look elsewhere in future.Rooms: 4/5
