Called in for a quick drink with the family. Charged almost £40 for a large round of drinks but didn't check the bill. The barmaid came over after a few minutes and give us £4.50 back as we had been over charged. Thank you
Great pub, nice outdoor space, good selection of beers.
Relaxed atmosphere in a lovely historic building. Massive selection of gin, cider and beer. Gets quite loud downstairs when it's busy, which it is on a Saturday night.
Fantastic pub in downtown ipswich. Great selection of beer and ales on tap. Lovely outdoor seating area surrounded by historic Tudor buildings. The staff were friendly and welcoming and it's just a quick walk to local shopping and public transportation.
Great little bar, really pleased to see it opening post-lockdown. Friendly service and a good range of beers, wines and spirits on offer.
10th October was the day i knew my colour mattered. 10th October was the day i could not laugh and joke with my wife and friends about the past 18 months of fighting #cancer. If you want a library pub this is it! If you want a real pub and atmosphere do not go here! Rude barman we will never go back!
Nice and relaxed
Nice pub, good selection of beer at very reasonable prices and a great outside courtyard.
This pub is a little gem amongst the pubs on Ipswich, as it sits more towards the older side of Ipswich town centre. The staff are polite and friendly, atmosphere is pleasant, plenty of choice for alcohol. Not one of the ones that plays loud music.
Lovely pub, excellent beer.
