First visit - although cycled to and through Bolton Abbey for years. This has got to be one of the best positioned cafes in the area - the view over the Wharfe river and the abbey itself are breathtaking. Only ordered tea and cake - which was excellent; as was the service. The menu looked good - defo lunch next time. My new go to pit stop on this route.
Characterful cafe with open fire and nice furniture. Very pleasant staff Sylvie was very friendly and helpful. Vegetarian breakfast was a good size. Swift service. Nice views. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian all day breakfast Avocado on toast with mushrooms Jacket potato with cheese & tomato
We loved this little gem of a restaurant with its stunning views of Bolton Abbey. The food is fresh and the portions were generous. The staff were cheerful and couldn't do enough. A real treat after a long walk around the Abbey. Highly recommended! Parking: There's free parking for one car per booking. Kid-friendliness: Lovely little kids menus and they'll accommodate buggies & car seats where possible.
Stopped here for a late lunch, very good warm cheese scone and the panini as well. Friendly staff and great views over the abbey and River too.Food: 5/5
Prime location for views of Bolton Abbey and ruins. Nice garden seating, and serving staff very pleasant. Enjoyed lunchtime snack and drink, before trekking down to the Abbey. A number of tame small birds wandered around the tables, despite the presence of visiting dogs, which was a nice feature. Recommended.
Beautiful cafe situated next to Bolton Priory. Shane was extremely friendly and allowed us to bring our cat inside who was in a cat pram. Very welcoming and great food. Highly recommended if you're stopping by.Food: 5/5
We stopped for a drink at the Tea Cottage on our visit to Bolton Abbey , we walked down to back of the garden of the tea rooms ,it has lots of tables overlooking the stunning abbey and riverside We were welcomed by Friendly Happy staff , The drinks were reasonably priced and the food look lovely , I can highly recommend this tea room for a cheeky beer coffee and cake or a nice lunch They are also dog friendly
Lovely place! Beautiful views of the surroundings. The prices were a little on the high side but the quality of the food was really good. Had the best BLT I've had in a long while but it cost £8 Coffee was good The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed on the day we were there but we weren't waiting too long for our order. The paths and outdoor eating area were wheelchair accessible and it appears dogs were welcome

This tea t shop has some fantastic views of Bolton Abbey. I was disappointed as they were slow to clear the tables and even slower to serve. We had a coke icecream float but the coke was very warm so the ice cream just melted straight away. Staff were lovely but were very busy.
