Second visit here for dinner and again did not disappoint, delicious food and speedy, friendly service! Lovely relaxing, ambient atmosphere and reasonably priced too. Both times we’ve visited in the winter so haven’t been able to enjoy the sea view as of yet but just means we’ve got an excuse to return!

Visited for lunch. Wasnt aware that the restaurant is part of a holiday park and the car barrier at park entrance took me by surprise, but quickly let through after pressing the intercom button and explaining in had a reservation. Plenty of parking available at the location. Once in restaurant, quickly greeted by staff and shown to a lovely table which had a great view across the bay. Waiting staff were very polite and attentive. Food order was taken and then served in no time  as quick as wethers! :  I had the shredded chicken with rice and prawn crackers, which was very tasty especially the sauce. Dining partner ordered the fish cakes with chunky chips. The fish cakes actually came as a number of fish cake balls..still delicious though i was told. I was lucky enough to nick a few chunky  chip off her plate- really nice. Following our meal we went for a stroll in the nearby beach. All in all really enjoyed the afternoon..  good food, good location, great staff

Wow what a beautiful location and view for dinner. The Tavern's interior is gorgeous with stunning wooden beams and beautiful natural light from all of the floor to ceiling windows and the views over the bay are amazing. The food was fantastic we had the garlic bread and buffalo chicken steps to start and then the Cantonese sweet chilli chicken with coconut rice and the Carne Pizza. Both the Cantonese and buffalo chicken were so tender and the flavours in the sweet chilli sauce were heavenly. The pizza was loaded with meat and had a lovely crisp base. I couldn't finish it all so I got to bring it home for dinner tomorrow  win. In total it came to between £50 and £60, which may be considered a lot but I feel was more than fair for the quality of the food plus the views and access to the St David's Park beach. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning.  Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian and vegan options available. The burger looked fantastic and I&#39;m not even vegan.   Kid-friendliness: Lots of variety and  options on the kids menu plus the on site play area and beach were fantastic for afterwards.   Parking: Plenty of parking.   Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access for wheelchairs and baby prams.

Lovely bar area with great views overlooking the beach. What ruined it for us is no dogs allowed inside. It was quite chilly, the bar was empty. No food till the evening. Why oh why no dogs! Just a dog friendly area would do! Nearly everyone on that beach had a dog! Like I say, nice, clean picturesque but unfortunately we won't return unless it's 40 degree heat!

Fantastic food and amazing views from the dining area. Bit pricy but that's what you're paying for! Well worth a punt!  Vegetarian options: Good nut roast with onion gravy, only sampled the Sunday roast so can&#39;t comment on anything else

We had our 20th wedding anniversary here. Staff was friendly and prepared little surprise for us which was sweet. I've had sea food platter and it was nice. Pudding was delicious. You have to remember this is busy place and lots of families were there. Lovely sea view and terrace to eat on if it is nice day. Plenty of parking in front of The Tavern. Overall good experience but next time we will try to eat on terrace if weather is hood enough.

Delicious food, excellent service and stunning view.

Brilliant location and views but sadly the restaurant disappointed us. Our food came out a bit too fast which concerned me. The bread on the flatbread was dry and my husbands burger was only just warm. The kids meals are very overpriced for what they are and they tried to charge us £1.50 for an extra pizza topping for my daughters tiny pizza. Overall very disappointed and there were multiple mistakes made with our order- our waitress said she was new but it seems adequate training hasn’t been provided. When I complained I didn’t even see the manager. It’s a shame as I wish the food matched the beautiful location.

Nice restaurant but a bit noisy when busy.   The place is really nice with a stunning view over the bay duhh.  The food was surprisingly good! Definitely recommend it with friends or family, but just not for a cosy dinner for two.

The location and view here is absolutely fantastic. The aesthetic and decor is lovely, and the staff were brilliant when we visited! We were quite disappointed with our main meals, hence the 3 stars. Two of our party had fish and chips - the chips were extremely greasy and were ultimately left. One member had the lamb which was very tough, and the final had the chicken which was quite chewy. The meals came very quickly less than 10 minutes after ordering...we'd have been happy to wait for fresh food!. The desserts on the other hand were absolutely delicious!!!  One thing I will say about this restaurant is that the menu is so so varied, that it truly caters for every person - but unfortunately, it seems to be vast at the expense of quality. It's fairly pricey for a quality which wasn't much to rave about.  On the whole, I would recommend this place for the view and location and novelty alone - perhaps an earlier booking would have fresher and better quality food!
