Fantastic selection of real ales, gins and many more liqueurs. The bar staff were friendly and happy to offer samples of the ales. There is a downstairs comedy theatre which wasn't on when we visited but it looked like a nice cosy venue and prices seemed very reasonable. I would love to revisit this bar again on a comedy night.
A nice unpretentious spot on upper Upper Street. Friendly service on all my visits. Great range of well-kept beers and knowledgeable staff. Pizzas served at the moment are best value in this part of town. Yum/slurp.
Great beer. Pizza is good but very popular with some long waits - order to the left of the bar.
Nice selection of beers, ales and cider at fair prices. Good deals on tasty pizza and bar staff friendly. Wee venue downstairs for comedy and good entry prices.
Lovely bar on Upper Street. I went their to see a comedy gig downstairs but spent half an hour upstairs before the gig. Good vibe. Pleasant staff and the food, mainly pizzas looked and smelt good. Definitely will return there.
Hard to beat price-wise when it's cask ale Sunday. Always a decent selection of beers. Handy little covered beer garden out the back.
