Just went to the tannery with my wife for are anniversary and had to be the worst experience I have every had in a restaurant we ordered a starter and a main each the main course came out before the starter then when the main came out I asked for a pint of bud by the end of the meal the pint still hadn't arrived and I will still getting charged for it. I asked for a 12oz steak medium to well with came out an 8oz steak at best and well done and full of fat I was charged £23 and then was charged£3.80 extra for 6 chunky chips I will never be back to the tannery and will never recommend to anyone. If I could give a minus score that would be to generous

This for the Sunday carvery at the Tannery.... We have been there many times n thoroughly recommend it to couples n families alike. It's 4 courses (4th being tea or coffee) for only £19.95 n I think under 12yrs are £12.95. You help yourself to as little or much as you like. There is a good variety of starters n desserts which cater for all tastes. The main course is normally a choice of 3 roasts n then there are a variety of potatoes n veg plus condiments suited to the meat. U don't have to book but if ur group is 4 or more, or it's a special Sunday, then it is advisable to book

Great grub. The portions for dessert are maybe a little small for me personally. When you pay the same price in a restaurant for one tiny slice of cheesecake as you would pay in a bakery for an entire cake it can kind of sting a little when the slice is gone in three forks...

Speedy service, and pleasant staff. The steaks, sides and sauces were gorgeous and fit the price. I have gotten a meal on a previous visit, did not get streak, and the dish wasn't amazing. I personally stick to steak with this restaurant as it's speciality.

Ate the burger and chips and my son had the childrens meal. Meat was cooked exactly as asked without issues. When it can to paying the bill there was an additional two drinks which we did not order; the staff very quickly corrected this error
