My second visit and still love it. I'm sure it won't suit folks who don't have an interest in elderly iron, but that said my wife enjoyed the personal accounts of the men who served in the vehicles. There is a huge amount to see and it's best to take a whole day if not more, the facilities are good and play equipment is provided for children inside and out. The main restaurant is very good and well priced and the ground floor cafe is also very reasonable. Last thing to note is disabled access is very good, I'm sure the helpful staff will assist in away possible.

I went when I was much younger and it has changed a lot. It is now huge, much more interactive and there is a lot more for children to do. Things they can go in, toys to play with along the way and even a small soft play while you grab some food. I would recommend adults or young families rather than older kids.

Brilliant museum, travelled from Northern ireland to see it with my son and exceeded expectations! The website doesn't do it justice in my opinion, loads of well presented exhibits and the awesome Tiger exhibit (main reason we travelled over) but dozens of other vehicles as well as a good cafe and great gift shop. In my opinion way better than Imperial war museum. Highly recommended!

This was a fantastic day out. My son and I had a great day. If you like tanks even a little to will love the tank museum. There are tanks form all time. We loved it. There was a little display with tanks driving about and showing off some of there tactics.

Took the five year old who loved it (we skipped the trench experience as that was a bit scary for him), the three year old not so much. The place is massive and has so much to see. If you stopped and ready everything it would be a very full day, we covered most of it at a fairly quick pace in about three hours though. The cafe served really nice food and was very reasonably priced. Kids food is all small portions of the main menu too.
