Food was yummy, but maybe more of a choice would be great. Children friendly, clean and pretty premises and nice staff. Maybe a wee bit more expensive than expected, but still value more money. Great location.
Such a friendly pub, bar staff were really accommodating in getting my terminally ill brother the drink he wanted. He was able to sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere and people watching. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Had a great Sunday roast all cooked just how I like it so that the vegetables don't jump off your plate.
Just stopped off for a sandwich. Not a bad pub, very airy and clean.we all had the chapatti and tuna. Reasonably priced fare.
Great welcome from the friendly barman. Good beer. Excellent food. Views of the viaduct and Taymar from the outside seating. Pricing very reasonable.
Lovely pub and great food. I felt such a pain asking them to get rid of the lettuce didn't state on the menu from my tacos as it sets off my ibs and they were so polite about sorting it for me and I'm glad I didn't need to miss out on the cheese nacho sauce. I only remembered to take a pic halfway through it was so good!
A lovely place close to the river. Sadly we were too late for lunch they stop serving at 3 p.m. It was busy but service was good. Enjoyed some drinks and pot of tea. Would love to visit when we can have some food there!
Very poor service. One chef working and the place was not that busy. Informed it would take 40 minutes to receive food. I asked if it would be possible to receive the starter sooner bread and olives so not a complex dish. The starter arrived after 50 minutes followed by the main course 4 minutes later! Very disappointed with the service. We were presented with a free drink but overall a dissatisfactory evening and will not return.
Good local food, esp the mussels and fish and chips.
Fabulous little place...very accommodating as we arrived in the pouring rain just as they finished serving lunch..but took our order anyway...lovely log burner..waitress was lovely and bar staff aswell..would highly recommend
