Such a crazy restaurant. Me and my friends ordered curries and some naan. So they brought the naan and the curry. So we waited for the rice, but it didn't come. So we asked for it. The lady was so annoyed and said that it's not included. I never ever experienced that before! I went to so many indian restaurants and you always get rice! While we ordered the guy could have at least asked us if we wanted rice if it's apperantly not included?! It's quite expensive I wouldn't recommend going here. They do have a nice selection of beers. And one guy was very friendly, I wanted something that was not on the menu Paneer Makhani and that was not a problem. I also ordered peshwari naan, it was the funniest thing ever. It contained so much coconut that it almost looked like I had a full plate of rice. I included some pictures. It's ridiculous. It was tasty though, but it all was so weird.
Really nice place and food excellent. Keema balti very tasty. You must try the Halwa on the dessert menu - hot semolina with nuts, sultanas, butter, coconut milk and syrup... delicious! Really nice staff too. :-
Excellent meal. Friendly staff. I would recommend if you enjoy Indian cuisine.
Visited here with 5 mates while on the island for the TT. Pleasant enough atmosphere and staff attentive but food lacked any depth of flavour. Alot of the dishes we ordered seemed very similar in taste and presentation. Not the cheapest of Indian restaurants either so expected better quality food. If I'm honest, not somewhere I'd visit again.
We had a meal here last night, Saturday 24 August with Friends. We were greeted on arrival, it was busy, a good table as well. We were offered menus and had cobra beers very nice we chose our starters and mains and extras. We were comfortable and sat back chatting the mains were all good and we had enough to eat, hot and tasty the mains were off good size just enough as an Indian meal can be filling, again hot and tasty . We would come back again as we thought this offered good value, restaurant clean and tidy, owner and waitresses very friendly nothing too trouble again service with a smile . Thank you for making us all welcome .
Top draw. Fist time hear. The best Indian iv ever had. I had the lamb madras and my mother had the shrimp korma. £42 for 2 meals extras and 3 pints of cobra. Ppl try this place I highly recommend
Been to Isle of man twice and both times could not fault this food great curries also love the Nann bread it's fantastic. This trip eaten there twice and all our party of 20 who traveled from New Zealand loved your curries.
Nice little Indian situated along the promenade. Has a good selection of dishes and reasonable prices. Also has Cobra on draught so can't complain. Worth a visit if you are in the area and one of the better Indians I have been to for sure.
Had a chicken tikka curry here. The meat wasn't really tikka, it was really grisly. It was like it had been microwaved from frozen then thrown into a bachelors tin of tomato soup, add a bit of chilli powder.... £10.50 please..... Yes, it's also overpriced. The standards on this island seem somewhat sub standard to the mainland. A really disappointing part of my trip to this island.
I ordered a take-away and the food was well below par. Very disappointing that the dishes were inconsistent with the names assigned. When I went to take delivery of the food, the staff were polite and courteous.
