We had a Sunday Lunch at the tailors and it was INCREDIBLE! One of the nicest roasts I’d had in a long time. I’m vegetarian and their veggie option was delicious. Others in the group had mixed roasts all of which were generous portions and looked just as tasty. We will be back again very soon! Vegetarian options: Amazing options for vegetarians and a lovely roast option too. The sides and desserts too were great for a veggie Kid-friendliness: We had 2 toddlers and 2 babies with us and they seated us in the spacious area at the back which was perfect! The kids food looked lovely and staff were great with the children. Parking: Loads of space
Food is superb, service good, really nicely done out internally and quiet. Only slight negative is menu is sometimes a bit static and limited if you go frequently, though it does change. Certainly worth eating at though.Food: 5/5
Lovely food and surroundings. Unfortunately there seems to be visitors to this pub who think the disabled parking is there for their convenience and not for actual disabled customers. We saw a black jaguar using half a normal space and half the disabled space when we went in so my husband ,who is disabled and needs to be able to open the cR door wide, couldn't use it. Then when we came out there was a black BMW parked the same way. I did mention it to the staff, but not sure if anything was done.
I dined here as part of a group. Waiting staff were super helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, my main meal hadn't been fully cooked as the aubergine was still so hard it was unpalatable, unlike my friend's one which was juicy and soft as one would expect. Mine was replaced with another which was, sadly, just as hard. As you would expect, I was offered another choice so I chose something simple, veggie sausage and mash. I ate it because, by this time I was super hungry but, sadly, the veggie sausages were very dry, overcooked and tasted like over seasoned cardboard, I could only manage to eat one. The mash was, well, just mash but I enjoyed the green beans and home made onion rings. Based on my experience, I can't recommend the food but others in my party seemed to enjoy theirs. Vegetarian options: My experience, having tried two main meals, was poor.
We went for a selection of tapas, overall very good! Nice atmosphere and attentive staff.Food: 4/5
What a great place for Sunday lunch. Excellent quality food and plenty of it. Friendly and helpful staff. Good value, too. Definitely worth a return visit.Food: 5/5
Amazing service, friendly staff Great drinks Bang on AVERAGE food. Not the experience I was looking for, but overall ok. Little bit noisy, but that's just me. Didn't let that influence the rating. The food overall ranged from slightly disappointing to pretty good. Bang on average. Presentation was great but quality was just lacking. I had the soup which was bland. First time I've ever turned down an olive! Too much salt!! This trend continued on the side of chips, and also the salmon especially the tapers which the girlfriend ordered. I refused to try one of her muscles. I ordered the steak and ale pie, and would have considered upping the rating if it was top. The pie wasn't bad, filling was pretty good but it wasn't anything special. I think the pasty was the let down. It didn't have the correct consistency. Mashed potatoe was tasty and again, presented beautifully. Unfortunately I cannot say I'll go back to try the tapas. Staff were amazing, polite and friendly so good job on that! Drinks were delicious. Reasonable price.
Its nothing but a bog standard pub, not a fine gastro pub. Chef lacks talent, serves food with hot & cold spots, and half arsed waiting staff. Anything other than fish & chips or Burger, don't bother ordering as you will be disappointed. Festive menu was a disaster of flavours. Decor was so bare even with xmas decorations it didn't feel warm or inviting.
Nice pub. Secluded. Not crowded. Good food. Service is excellent. Tried baked hake & potato, skin on fries, lemon meringue and Moretti. Solid laidback pub. Will visit again.
Were in Nottingham for the weekend and staying not far from Tailors Arms, which had good reviews. The place was nice, clean etc. But the standards were somewhat average. The Sunday roast we had, the Yorkshire pudding was burnt, the rest was OK. The service was good.Food: 3/5
