My son and I have breakfast here on a Saturday morning regularly and it never fails to satisfy. I’ve not had a Sunday roast here or other menu items for sometime so can only comment on the breakfast.nThe breakfast is always delicious, with well cooked quality ingredients and good value for money. Other establishments on the High Street also offer breakfast but you would pay considerably more. To compliment the breakfast they have a coffee machine and a selection of coffees, flavoured syrups and alternative milks . The staff are always very friendly and the food comes out very quickly.
Absolutely amazing, lovely pub with so much to offer. You can sit inside or outside. Decided to have a roast lunch and OMG when it arrived, it looked just like how I serve. Loads, thrown on and I mean that in a nice way and lovely thick gravy. None of your separate pots, etc, but a typical Sunday lunch at mums. It tasted so so good and was hot and delicious . Looking for to going there again.
Well after a day out with the Wife at a National Trust place. Dyrham House. We were famished. We tried queuing at the cafe at Dryham but to many kids and the que wasn't going fast enough to warrant a ham sandwich. So anyhoo! We wandered into Chippinng Sodbury. But apparently Chipping Sodbury closes at 3pm apart from charity shops one of which i fitted out many years ago so we moved on to Thornbury. After a another round of charity shop looking by the wife god give me patience! We eventually sat down in the Swan. Fish cakes for the Wife chips salad £7.50. Ham sandwich for myself chips salad coleslaw. £7.50. Service excellent. Wife said fishcakes were very good. My ham sandwich was very good . Half a ham hock between to rounds of wholemeal bread. Well worth it. To sum up . If you have been in every charity shop in Chipping and Thorbury and not bought a thing and you fancy a hamsandwich or other meal. Consider The Swan. Very Nice
Recently had a meal from the Christmas menu at lunchtime. Very good. Lots of food. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. My dog was welcomed.
Was at the hotel for breakfast on 30th Sept 2024 and enjoyed it so much.nSo on way to Wales 13th October, I diverted once again for another great breakfast nnWill be going again soon and hopefully book a night's accommodation as wellnnWell done to all the staff
