Perfect old fashioned boozer with well kept draft beers and local atmosphere. Good dartboard, real fire in the winter, ancient lino on the floor, just like locals used to be. Prides itself on not having been redecorated in ages! And it should stay this way!
You will get a friendly reception from the staff in this lovely cosy pub with open fires. Dog friendly. Great beer.
If you could put 'proper pub' in a bottle this would be it. Wonderful.

4 real ales. Nice and cosy, 10 locals in and a great place for a nice chat. Tuesday quiz night.
There's nothing to fault in this pub - it boasts all the virtues of what a good traditional local should be. It’s a tiny terraced gem with varied, well-kept beer Young’s, Timothy Taylor’s Landlord and Black Sheep, which all taste great with a meat pie for less than two quid!, lovely fires in winter, games and books littering the place, a genuine welcome and friendly locals. In an era when dozens of pubs are closing every month, a lesson in how to do it right.
Great local with well kept Abbot ale and a really excellent cheese and ham toasty at £1.50p!! Such a shame my locals in Oxhey Village can't match such excellence! The only downside is the glare of 4 large Tvs showing sport
Cosy, traditional, British pub. Not chain-affiliated, not refurbished, a rare find these days - go visit!
Very nice pub. I had my birthday drinks there and the the garden was absolutely lovely. Nice shelter with games to play and warm Alison was really nice and friendly And Gavin is the soundest donny
