This is a great pub, we called in after visiting the adjacent aviation museum and was impressed by the atmosphere & decor of the place. The pub is spacious and the staff were welcoming & friendly, great drinks selection and the food excellent quality. Lovely outdoor area at the rear with ample seating and a reasonably sized car park alongside the pub. Highly recommended!
The service was very good. Had the large chicken wings as bar food, the wife had Caesar salad with chicken, which was okay, but the chicken, sadly, was very dry. We were sitted in the dining area and moved after dinner to their "pub area," a nice clean atmosphere and friendly guests during our visit. Will try their outdoor "igloo" next time

Best Sunday lunch out in years! Portion looked small, but was stacked high and actually very filling. Great fresh veg, including the uniquely addictive white cabbage puree. Great service from Tom and team, they even got someone to bring fresh milk for my coffee from a local hotel. Thank you!!
Amazing lunch at The Swan today. Went for a leaving party. Our server was amazing. He’s a legend. I asked for the best fish finger sandwich in the world and I got one with caviar. No joke. Then my colleague got a complimentary brownie for his leaving gift. Great food, great ale and incredible service. Go. Now.
Booked a table for 6pm which was cancelled the day before the event. We were told they were fully booked but we could wait around until 8.30 but nothing guaranteed. No effort to accommodate us whatsoever. We still went to the pub for drinks to find the restaurant totally empty. The staff still maintained that every table was booked for the evening! Went to order some drinks to find most of them were unavailable. So we left to spend our money in a pub that was more deserving of our custom. I’ve been to this pub often over the years, and it’s always been good - yes expensive, but good. Which is why I find it disappointing when you get treated like this. We will be giving this place a miss for a while. Plenty of other great pubs around.
Love the atmosphere! George, Marcus, Amber, Elini and the rest of the staff are amazing! The service is first class! And the food is the best! Best cheeseburger I've ever had! And I've had loads around the world!
Decent food. Reasonable price. The pub is located on a dull stretch of road by some kind of airbase. It has a large beer garden and a few all weather pod structures. I ate in the pub anyway… The interior has recently been redecorated - clean and tidy but lacking character. Immaculate WC’s. Pleasant service. Do not sit at table twelve, the music - more for the employees than the customers, I suspect is very loud. Probably more suited to larger groups.
