Nice room, Clean Room, Comfortable Bed, friendly staff, Great Breakfast. Very good value for the £80 I paid. A bit of noise from the pub below, but lovely and quiet from closing time. Small car park at rear for guests.
I stayed with my girlfriend in one of the rooms and the guys showed me around the room and was very attentive with everything. And the pub had a great evening when I joined what I thought where regulars to play pool we had a great laugh.Rooms: 4/5
Booked 3 rooms for Sat night due for overnight as attending a wedding in Hythe. Reception was friendly and quick given codes for rooms instead of keys which worked well. All the rooms were newly painted. light and airy. Beds were comfy room was clean with lge TV fan and heater if required. Tea coffee making facilities. Bathroom fresh and clean nice shower. Breakfast was good full English with juice plus tea or coffee. All the staff in the hotel were friendly. We had a couple of drinks in the bar before going out sat lovely bar area friendly bar staff and good choice of drinks would def recommend
At first it looks good, we had the family room, there were no mattress protectors or pillow protectors, no blinds on the widow , one bed was lopsided, but they were comfortable But unfortunately the bar music went untill 11.20 keeping 9 year old awake, to be woken at 7 by the music in the bar on full blast. Going downstairs we were hit by an over powering smell of bleach. Breakfast was very disappointing, no real choice and what was served wasn't worth the money. When speaking to the one assistant on duty she said it was her with the music in the morning and sorry...
Came down for a wedding with a large group, they allowed us for early check in, barman was helpful, parking is a bit tight, overall good service.Rooms: 4/5

Had food and cocktails in the bar today. The new owner was very accommodating and kind. We were a large group and were probably a pain. We had many orders, some of which were not on the menu. However nothing was too much trouble. Fast service, amazing cocktails and wonderful table service.. what more could we want? 5 StarsService: 5/5
Spent a night at this friendly and welcoming hotel. Great location within walking distance of town and beach. Room was clean and comfortable. Excellent full English breakfast included in price. Great value for money.Rooms: 4/5
Owner and staff very helpful and friendly. A lot of work is being done and and I'm sure it's going to be a very nice place once everything is finished. I wish them well with there future plans. And look forward to staying there again. The new cocktail bar will be great and drinks to please everyone. I enjoyed my. It's very central and easy for visiting many places around the Kent Coast. Clean Beds and Good Food. I will definitely go back.
Stopped off for something to eat and was presented with the most tasty dishes we had eaten in a while, all four of us agreed on this and were glad for our spontaneous visit. The mulled wine was very good, as were the staff, friendly and informative. Definitely visiting again.
