Went to the swan on a Saturday night and it was absolutely banging. Me and my missus had a great time. Lots of friendly punters and also bar staff was very friendly and nice. Lots of different types of music being played from bounce to clubland classics. Songs that you will all know and love. I will be visiting here again once I am in town.
Two pubs side by side with one owner. Only The Swan open till 9.00 tonight. Large open pub with shared outdoor covered seating shared with sister pub. Friendly staff. Too many TV's for an old man like me. Loud music but good taste! Pint of Kent beer for £2 a pint. Shepheard Neame Spitfire. Really good ...but I am from Sussex who brew better beer.
The bouncers are bullys, my 60yr old dad had left a bag under the seat we had been sat at all afternoon, while he went to smoke and came back to a group of yiuth sat in the place amd his bag missing, upon request the brutish door men violently grabbed my elderly dad thew him to the floor and dragged him outside for no reason, he had reasently recovered from a broken back but obviously these disgusting humans didnt care either way, i am will be reporting these animals as i have them all on film
Staff are awesome, drinks are grand, loads of seating and dance floor space too. But oh my Christ, the dj is the worst I've ever experienced and I used to work weddings on the bar. I've never heard such an utter massacre without watching a vice documentary on genocide.Service: 5/5
Fantastic little Pub/ Bar. Open till very late or earlyand its fairly cheap in there, too. Right slap bang in the middle of the main street for pubs and clubs in bolton it feels like you're never more than a minute walk from a kebab shop or the next stop off the night. 10/10Service: 5/5
My experience with the door staff at the Swan are thus. Fantastic door staff I remember a few Christmas's ago I left the Swan and tbh a near riot was occurring so I went back knocked on the window and asked them to intervene before someone got kilt and fair play to them they did and this was when the town centre had no affective police presence at all, come to think about it there was No Police at all on the streets. So I take offence at criticism unduly reviewed these doormen are the Best in Bolton
Well what a place the beer horrible left it behind. The bar stunk with some old chap sat there smelt. Not very inviting with the smell of something horrid vile.Service: 1/5
Never had a bad experience in here! The staff are amazing - so polite and professional. Came in after my family party with my friends and had the best time dancing to the music. Also coming in during the day is nice after running errands - great to get the chance to talk to the staff in the daylight. They have my favourite drinks in here and so many different gins
Amazing!! Being in the center of town this pub is very accessible and easy to find! I visited on Saturday afternoon with work colleagues. We was apprehensive as to wether we would be able to find somewhere in town which catered to us all as being a mixed age group with different music taste ect. We noticed here had outside entertainment on so thought we'd give it a try. Karaoke and DJ - playing a range of music which was wonderful- the atmosphere was amazing. We even got involved with karaoke! Drink deals were also very good! £5 for a double gin and lemonade VERY good!!, many other offers on to which also suited our party. Couldn't think of a better place to spend a fun Saturday afternoon in the sun! All the staff were lovely as were other customers, I already cannot wait to return!
