We had a mixed stay.The welcome was good at check in but after that it was absent.The room was clean with a comfortable bed and it had a nice view.However the bathroom had a tiny sink and there was no storage spacenwe went out to eat and returned at about 9.15 to the snug to play dominoes.We were told then that the bar closed at 8.30pm on a Sunday so no drinks.The staff saw that we were in the snug but switched the lights off nevertheless plunging us into darkness.i complained and the lights were switched back on albeit reluctantlynAt about 9.45pm i saw 3 staff members leaving and asked about the lights and the bar.One staff member identified herself as senior and basically said if we wanted a drink we should go elsewhere and if we wanted to play dominoes we should go to our room as it was an Inn not a hotelnNeedless to say we will not be revisitingnWe were told that the manager Luke had been informed but we heard nothing from him.nThe breakfast the next day was nice and hearty and the lights were left on that evening by special request.Also Clare did serve us a drink as the bar was open later on a Monday

Nice pub, great location. Plenty of outside seating. Only had a hot drink outside but it was very nice and the service was quick and friendly.nUpdate:nHave since been in for a couple of meals. Had gammon, egg and chips. Probably the nicest gammon steak I've ever eaten. Also had scampi and chips which was lovely too.

Lovely pub and hotel. The room was large and well appointed. Very comfy bed, good quality linen and the pillows and duvet are lovely and soft. Nice breakfast and great service.

We had a family reunion this week and had a meal at The Swan. Really great food, reasonably priced and a lovely situation right next to the River Avon. Very attentive staff. Would recommend without hesitation

Lovely location, outside in the sun next to the river. Limited vegetarian/vegan options but beer was lovely!
