Wow what great service from start to finish. Having found myself requiring swift attention the surgery certainly delivered. The reception staff were just lovely and understood my predicament, l was very lucky to receive a face to face appointment within minimal time. Dr Pasha was wonderfully attentive and understanding, l left feeling as though a weight had been taken off my shoulders. Thank you
Rang for non urgent appointment. Seen by GP registrar the same morning. Thorough consultation performed extremely well
How are autistic individuals meant to cope with a same-day appointment at NO specified time? If I go somewhere, I have to worry about phone signal, if I stay put, I waste hours at a time waiting for this call. Moreover, my late-onset sleep pattern like MANY neurodivergent folk makes booking a 6am appointment near on impossible. This system is sooo ableist. I wish I didn't have to complain, but I have been sat on my sofa from 8am to 4pm scared to move so that I can take this long-awaited Doctor's call. I spoke to a delightful receptionist this morning, but the system is so broken that even their friendliness doesn't push it over the 1 star mark overall
I reached the grand age of 69 and as the poster behind the receptionist states, once you reach 69 you are eligible for a Shingles vaccination. So I called and requested the jab, to be told I can only have it once I reach 70, but I’m eligible at 69. To eligible means you can have it at that age, so please receptionist do not try and have an aggressive discussion on the meaning of eligible, just admit the poster is out of date. May I suggest you remove the poster as it is inaccurate and replace with an up to date one, as on checking the NHS page one is only eligible ONCE you reach 70.
This used to be an excellent practice until they introduced their wretched online consultations. As a result I couldn't contact my GP today when I needed to speak to him. My Father complained to me recently that the surgery would not longer accept letters to his GP too. He is 86 and has sent letters for years. Poor show I'm afraid.
Came to get checked out for a bacterial infection got told the exact same thing by two other doctors and got treated like a mug when I told them I’ve been on the same treatment for the last three months, useless and quite embarrassing to be honest
Great surgery if your paying for your prescriptions, fail in the basic, sreferrals, examinations, advice ect but they are great at sarcasm and talking BS though if your on benefits after an accident that put you out of work..busted ankle=gout, anxiety=what do I expect them to do about it, not eating= that's fine you don't need to eat as long as you get plenty of exercise..unreal surgery
I have been a patient since 1992 and have been less than impressed with the treatment and service provided. We have been doing a 210 mile round trip since 1996. I have never considered changing which says a lot.
just want to thank langport surgery for being so good looking after my husband and I we both got COVID we felt very cared for. I know some people are not very happy with them but they are doing there best in trying times.
Incredibly rude woman on the phone.. on the dispensary , no manners whatsoever. Perscription is never ready, even though ordered well in advance. Will be moving back to old surgery as had enough of having to argue to get medication a senior cardiology consultant authorised.
