I came in for a full set of eyelash extensions. They left me a voicemail saying my appointment was made for 5pm when I said to them I finished work at 5:30pm so that was the time it was booked for. Also when I rang up on the phone multiple times no one answered and this was a couple a weeks ago and they only tried ringing me yesterday. The eyelashes aren’t even a full set and aren’t facing the correct way. When I walked in to the reception area no one came to attend me and me friend them had to sit and wait. A women told me that the lady wouldn’t have time to do the eyelashes because I was late when I wasn’t. 
I will not be returning to this salon again.

I love visiting the sun spa, having had many treatments here I have always come away having enjoyed every single one. The team are so lovely, warming and friendly and you feel really welcomed as a customer, so much so I have now become a regular. At such competitive prices, I don’t know why you would go any where else! X

I recently used a groupon to get my lashes done here and what an awful experience it's been! I'm lucky I still have any real lashes left! they stuck the fake ones to my eyelid not the lash! after coming home and showing a few friends who also had extentions they were really shocked and explained they shouldn't touch your skin (I wasn't aware or I would have said as I left the place) ... my bottom lashes were held down with tape, no soft pad or anything to protect them so when that was ripped off (with a few of the top lashes that had got stuck to it ) I have been left with very few bottom lashes. I couldn't shut my eyes fully so having a shower was painful because the water was getting in my eyes. 
I called the sun spa and was told that I must have had a reaction, they would never had glued them to my skin, never had a complaint, if they are on my skin then they have moved as the glue wasn't dry, I had a reaction so the glue didn't dry?! . .. I haven't had a reaction, there is no redness or pain apart from the glue pulling my skin and the lashes stabbing it when I close my eyes. 
there was so apology,  no fault admitted at all and worst of all no offer to help me take them off as they were busy! I was told to use baby oil and get them off myself?! luckily a friend came to the rescue with remover and the clumps of glue... my God how I have any lashes left I'll never know.
Im still waiting for the management to call me back but luckily in the mean time I've complained to groupon and got a refund so hopefully no one else will have to go through this.  had I not known people who have them done regularly I would have believed it was my fault and never complained. 
after this I really believe you get what you pay for and I wish I had just saved a bit more rather than cutting corners.

when I phoned you said can you pop in and I said it wouldn't be a 'pop' situation as I live 40mins but I would happily come in to get them off they hurt so much. 
India then phoned me and said that they are too busy to do anything today so no I wasn't offered to come in and have the sorted.

India said she would get you to call me to sort a refund but you didn't so I had no choice but to go to groupon a few days later and ask them.... thankfully they refunded and I still haven't heard anything from you.

although you say you wouldn't stick them to my eyelid they were (I have numerous pics and it wasn't just one or 2) she only took 50mins to do the whole lot which is not long at all is it.... also it's quite upsetting to say you would never rip the tape etc when that is exactly what happened! I'm so lucky to still have some of my real lashes so please don't belittle what I've experienced from your salon.

I'm sorry you don't believe what happens there but my experience was awful and instead of having an apology from you all I get is excuses. .... you have basically called me a liar and ignored me rather than just admitting a mistake has been made and that's why I have ended up writing this. I never ever complain normally but really to not even take ownership of a mistake that could have cost me my eyelashes is awful.

We called the place to book a massage, but no one picked up the phone for weeks. Someone then responded to my email and we went back and forth for available dates for weeks, but they refused to speak on the phone to book it faster. Finally, we got a date for 3 months later. Probably because we bought groupon instead of paying regular price. Then we went for a regular massage and it was OK, so we booked for a second massage, this time a hot stone, and I feel like I wasted the money. They just rubbed the stones very lightly but did no massage at all. I asked the lady to go deeper and work on the nods, but she didn't, so while it was cheap, it still feel like a waste of £. We told the lady in the reception, but they didn't offer any alternatives or compensation.
