Had been to the summer house since before covid, We booked a table and was sat in the bar area, which we loved, lovely atmosphere, the food was delicious, cooked to perfection shall definitely be going back again. All the staff were so friendly, made us feel very welcome. Hope they bring back the kids play area so we can bring the grandchildren in the summer, it was lovely looking at the horses in the joining field while having a nice drink. All in all for everything 5 stars all the way Parking: Steep carpark but nothing to worry about. More parking down to the left

Great pub with delicious food. I was there for the second time and I was still nicely surprised with the taste of meals. Portions are big, the food is freshly made and is nicely decorated on the plates . The staff are friendly and the pub is clean and tidy. Summerhouse has plenty of car park spaces and also the garden with the tables and sits outside. Behind the garden area there are meadows with wild flowers and free roaming horses. I highly recommend this pub. It's a shame for me that this pub is not close to Coventry where I live. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian meals
Hands down one of the best places I’ve been to! We hadn’t booked a table and managed to accommodate us by letting us sit down by the bar and still order food. The food was absolute sublime and would easily be on par with mums home cooked Christmas dinner. Fantastic service, fantastic value for money and the service was unreal. We shall be back!
The summer house has been taken over by some wonderful people who have made this pub wonderful again! The service is so friendly and you’re made to feel like you’re very welcome! They have made a fantastic ship in the garden for the children to be open soon! And the food oh the food is absolutely fantastic! I have navigated around the menu and you’re spoilt for choice! My daughters Hen Night at this fabulous pub was the best. Fabulous food staff are truly lovely and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you for having us 17 of us at short notice. We booked a meal at the summerhouse for my son's 16 birthday. We hadn't been in the summerhouse for years but thought let's give it a go. Needless to say it was a great decision, the staff were friendly, the food was superb, the portions were very generous and the price was right. There were nine on us all having different meals and they all came out at the same time and piping hot. We all came out full and happy I will definitely be visiting again very soon. Keep up the good work
Lovely place to eat, food is amazing cooked just rite, lovely staff would most defiantly recommend it’s a lovely family place to eat! Amy and Rory make you feel so welcome and are lovely people can’t do enough to accommodate you. A must try you won’t be disappointed! X our favourite place to eat by far Food: 5/5
I enjoyed the good here.. sat outside a ms the weather was warm and inside seemed overcrowded and stuffy. Good served up till 3 If I remember correctly so got there just in time. I ordered the garlic mushrooms to start - they were done really nice... I enjoyed the sauce and the bread that came with them to dip in excess sauce was handy and super soft and fresh. Mushrooms were nice and big.. very tasty. I hear the double lamb burger for main.. it was fine.. I have had better... but it wasn't terrible. There chips are crispy and chunky, couldn't eat them all as quite a bit portion. Kids had pizza and chips. The main issue I had was the lack of access, I had a puschair but no ramp, so had to bring down stairs myself.... luckily someone helped when I was coming out. Other than that no other issues... staff seemed nice enough.
I can't give the food 5 stars as unfortunately the vegan burger was awful... However and this is where other places need to learn. The amazing staff, Lisa, came and spoke to me, asked if there was anything they could do to make things right and then asked if i wanted anything else when i said no thanks. I had sides so munched away on those. About 5 minutes went by and theb Lisa returned and to my shock the chef asked if i would come back again so they could cook for me again to try make sure i had a better/good experience. Could you ask for better service? I 100% will go here again as their attitude to customers and facing challenges head on with a positive and solution focused mindset creates a lovely environment to share meals with your friends and family. Thanks Lisa, safe to say we are going to be back soon!
