The Stand Comedy club leaves me breathless with its impeccable staff and enchanting atmosphere that instantly wraps one in a warm embrace. It is a haven of intoxicating laughter and captivating moments. And then, Chloe Petts took the stage and unleashed a torrent of brilliance that left me utterly spellbound.

Great venue, friendly staff, wide range of shows and acts to see. Small intimate setting, think its first come first served for seating. The stage area is downstairs I assume there is a lift but if accessibility is an issue I would double check. Bar upstairs is nice for drinks before or after. Bar downstairs and food available in evenings, believe the bar closes during performances which minimises disruption.

Thoroughly cracking night worth a visit. I went with a group of work mates. We we were talking about it for days. If you haven't been get yourself down. Remember the golden rule never occupy the seats right next to the stage. The drink prices were standard.

Came to see a Saturday evening show. Cozy venue with free seating and friendly staff.

Fantastic comedy venue. Great staff, atmosphere and good quality drinks at the bar also reasonably priced. The smaller intimate feel makes this a much better experience for shows than your usual theatres. Keep an eye out for new material work in progress shows. We've seen big names like Sarah Millican and Larry Dean here which were brilliant shows for a very low ticket price

Great food and acts. The venue staff were very friendly, especially security! Slight downsides are the space available makes it difficult to get to and from your seat during intervals, depending on where you sit. The venue also seemed to have no AC, if you didn't step outside halfway through it became quite uncomfortable. Other than that, a good night with a few laughs.

First time visit long delayed, decent bar on ground floor level, then it's down some stairs to the actual comedy club, with another bar there also. This does not stay open when the acts are on so order a few in! Pleasant welcoming staff, good range of acts on, well worth a visit for a chuckle or 10.

The best place to see comedy in the area. Great line ups, bar prices are good and delicious food on certain days. The venue is great for those with accessibility needs. The staff are amazing. Friendly, welcoming and caring people.

Brilliant night out. We went to the Wednesday night gig, which was like an open mic where you see loads of new acts. Audience was friendly and kind to the acts. Bar was ok 10 pound for 2 drinks isn't bad. Staff were so friendly and helpful. We will be back and would rather do a Wednesday as if you see 7 acts chances are you will like 5 of them. UPDATE they did street food from Medhead before the acts tonight. Brilliant friendly venue.

Really great cheap n cheerful night. Have a selection of non alcoholic drinks, as well as bar snacks. Acts always fab and so many options for whatever you're into.
