I am English and understand very little of the local's dialect. However, The atmosphere in this pub is amazing and I feel very welcome here.

The staff are nice and friendly used to go in there everyday before lockdown for a can of diet coke and ask if they wanted me to go to the shops for them to help out  but nice  place to go to get a drink and catch up with friends so would recommend it its the only pub i like in town

It is what it is... A bar, across from a station!  It's a no frills local haunt where mostly people gather to watch the football, sports and the odd Hen/Stag party and other events have taken place there. The music machine selection is generous and for the shape and size of bar that it is, it does well with screen visibility for the football, rugby etc. The staff are friendly and down to earth. Apart from the sports is mostly a place to either kick start or end your night out in. A 4th star added from my 3 stat rating as the badly needed renovation that took place has done wonders for it. Also welcomes everyone and anyone, not tied to any particular allegiances football wise unlike other bars in Helensburgh if you catch my drift

The staff are lovely, nice range of drinks. Feels like it has a lack of space to sit but I suppose it depends on how busy it is so can't fault them for having good business!
