Me and my nan love this pub, I bring all my friends here too. It’s so friendly and the food is always so nice and valuable. The atmosphere is lovely and warm. Thank you to all staff. You do a fantastic job.
Very pleasant interior, with seating in a patio out side and large and expansive interior, with one wall having a mural on it protected with glass. This time tried the wine had a bottle for £13 and shared that like most items in Wetherspoon you can’t beat the price and therefore the place was packed
My partner and I both came to the star recently and we are both very impressed and happy with the experience. Our food was cooked perfectly and came out relatively quick, the staff were very friendly and attentive! And the vibes in here are just enjoyable, it’s a very pleasant place to come if you want to eat or even just have a few drinks. I would absolutely come again!!
10 may 26 - At 9:15pm me and my 2 friends arrived and we sat down in the booth area. Then about 5 minutes later a waitress came over and asked if we had ID one of my friends forgot hers, and didn’t think she would need it WE ARE 20. and then the waitress said ‘you can’t order here as one of you havent got your ID which is fair enough.. then my friends got 2 drinks a monster and a Pepsi and then the waitress came over a second time and said you can’t order soft drinks?? We only came in here to have them and not drink.nnthis was a unpleasant experience. As they felt pressured to drink them as they felt we had a time limit. I understand if we were drinking a alcohol drink but we wasn’tnAnd then she then came back for the last time and said ‘I said you weren’t allowed to order drinks in here’ I’m not sure if it’s a new policy or something but before when we’ve gone in there we’ve never had an issuennwe are 3 20 year olds trying to enjoy a night out
often old men smoking their heads off outside. have also experienced some WHITE MEN weirdos harassing me young woman and my friends. definitely a place where you need to be careful and ready to protect yourself. other than that, food and drinks are lovely and staff are amazing.
