Now that most of the good kitchen staff have gone the food is absolutely awful. This place has turned into a shambles. You can’t get served at the bar anymore without an attitude. They all used to joke about with the staff, made you feel welcome, serve you in a reasonable amount of time. The original staff made this pub… now you go in and just want to walk straight back out again. Been a regular since the pub has opened. Since it changed management… it’s an absolute mess.
we ordered four portions of ice cream with fruit, all the bananas were old and black, what a joke??? I was with 3 children 3 years old and 1,5 years old!!
A lovely little spoons that was quite busy when I was there. An outdoor area down the side of the pub with access from the street as well as the pub itself - good for wheelchair users. The tables are fairly close together so not a lot of room in places to move about. The staff were lovely and cheerful. The chicken wings were delicious and the Guinness was excellent.
Is nice pub. Last 2 times went busy one bar person and 2 girls who obviously work there chatting at end of bar ignoring people as talking about going out, food standard regal fare. I ordered small and large fish and chips. Small one had more chips than large one. Apart from that was a nice place seeing as from Cambridge and just visiting partners mum
We ordered 2 breakfasts, small and traditional at 10.30 am, nice lady served us, but I took both back.nBeans cold, bacon hard and cold.nNot good, excellent price but cold food spolt meal. Changed food but you must have a problem keeping your bacon warm as it still was.not warm.nWe also saw other customers return return the breakfast.nWill come again but hope food will be hot.
