Great pub, very friendly, quality beer and my pint is on the bar, even before I’ve parked the car. Love it.
Really nice pub in a nice location. Close to some to beautiful areas if you like a scenic walk. Staff are great, very welcoming.
Just had a fantastic meal at The Star with my wife and daughter. I had the burger and chips which was delicious and homemade. My wife had the ribs which she assures me were just like those from a tex-mex restaurant!! Both the drinks and food were served promptly by Emma, Chris and their team in the new outside, undercover and heated seating area. Best pub in Steyning? That's a yes from us!! Cheers guys.
Cozy and welcoming, what more could you want from a pub? Constantly amazes me how the landlady remembers everyone's name. And they serve Harvey's!
Really excellent lunch at The Star yesterday April 2020. Amazing charcuterie board and cheese ploughmans. The team were super-friendly and very accommodating. Lovely setting, dog friendly. Really can't recommend it enough and will definitely be back and if you want a walk to work up to, or work off the food, I highly recommend the Chanctonbury Ring walk nearby.
Always been impressed at the rudeness of the staff - a special variety of arrogance on show you can only get in the depths of Steyning. The sort of landlady that runs a pub where an entire area is created for kids, but then who bemoans the presence of... you guessed it, kids. The 'Zero Star' Inn well, one.
A lovely friendly pub. Great place to relax and have drink after a hard days whatever . Dogs very welcome.
Nice pub with a good atmosphere and a great garden. Really tasty pizzas on a Wednesday evening from the pizza van in the car park which can be eaten at your table or taken away.
Fantastic old pub, low beams, cozy with modern bits too blending both old and new together well. Bar and table games available and very family friendly. Has outside seating too and an area where the kids can run around in the Summer. Has own car park. Great food, drinks and atmosphere worth a visit.
I visited here in 1990's as a former student of Steyning Grammar school, I met a former school friend This place has a wonderful environment. Nice interior and space. The staff was friendly and the service was brilliant!
