Came here a few days ago after visiting the nearby Wrest at War which was great. To make things better, the Star & Garter appeared in front of us. The food was great with great portions. Definitely recommend and will be coming again

What a disappointment. The cauliflower cheese was frozen and the cream in the raspberry turnover was off. The management did not even have the courtesy to take money off the bill or come over to apologise. And due to this I will not be recommending them and will not return.

Fantastic place, staff really friendly. Lovely food. Even though they had a private party going on, you were welcomed.
