Ate here on Friday and had the steak night special, two sirloin steaks with all the trimmings and a bottle of house wine for £29.95, lovely! Lovely friendly and efficient staff, good beer and wine, will definitely be back.
Great friendly staff. Very clean and comfy. Good beer on tap and cask. Worth a stop in, everyone was very welcoming.
Food okay. Very loud group next to us which didn't encourage us to stay longer than was necessary.
Extremely friendly staff, good food and great value. Only problem was that there was six of us bit only three sirloin steaks were available and so there of is had to have the rump. Bit was fabulous anyway.
The guys at The Stag Hotel couldn't have been more helpful! A locked storeroom for our bikes and everything we could possibly need including parking right outside the door. Such a great place to stay. Lovely food and rooms were spot on clean and very comfortable. The ensuite room is a treat! Would definitely recommend staying there.
Cracking value an great food
Staff excellent food great, but rooms are absolutely awful and needing upgrades, heating not working, shower disgusting, bed is rock hard, won't stay here again, it's a pity because the pub and food is fantastic
We were made feel very welcome from the minute we entered. The bar is dog friendly which is a great benefit. Staff were very friendly towards everyone who entered will definitely be coming back
