Very disappointed with the meals at The Stag today. Paid for a medium Sunday lunch and it came on a small plate. The waitress tried to explain it was the same amount as the medium plates but it obviously wasn't. I have had Sunday lunch there quite regularly and have had no complaints before today. The waitress was quite rude and kept butting in when we tried to explain. Maybe we just caught her on a bad day.

Love the Stag, its one of our regular Sunday places to eat. Prices for the Sunday lunch are excellent, staff are very friendly and they even let you take away if you bring your own plate. Good honest pub with fantastic food at a great price, cant go wrong!

Great pub. Lovely friendly bar staff. Gorgeous coffee. A place to eat and watch sport.

Place was very very loud waitresses were extremely loud and shouted instead of speaking it was quite un nerving not to mention how disturbing it was. People shouting from one side of the bar to the other it was awful. The food was served cold uncooked mushrooms in stone cold sauce the service was delayed and took forever to arrive. We will not be viking the Stag again sadly it was like trying to eat your dinner in a factory terrible. The Stag was recommended to us but it failed miserably sorry.

The heating was broken and the food wasn't good but I don't like leaving bad reviews. Erm, I was able to find a parking space ok.
