Amazing afternoon tea birthday celebration had on the 22/07, Joanna was my main host, she was very nice person and served and accommodating me while I was there. Joanna and her team know how to treat you to fill relaxed and to have an amazing afternoon. The tea pot is masiv, but was enough for all time we where there. Fresh sandwiches, cakes and scones. Thank you to the chefs and please pass it to Joanna and her team as well, she is a credit for restaurant and I saw her professionalism and passion in interacting with myself and others customers.
We had the most delightful experience at this afternoon tea lounge! The atmosphere was elegant and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a leisurely afternoon. The selection of teas was extensive, catering to every taste, and each cup was brewed to perfection. The tiered trays of sandwiches, scones, and pastries were not only beautifully presented but also absolutely delicious. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply indulging in a treat, I highly recommend this charming tea lounge for a memorable experience.
Brought my family here for afternoon tea when they were visiting the UK because the menu looked good and it was a close walk 10 minutes to Buckingham Palace. The new menu was creative and fantastic. I've been to a few afternoon tea places in London including some of the very famous £100+ ones and have to say this was the best food I've ever had for afternoon tea. The sweets were so beautiful that I almost didn't even want to eat them, but they tasted amazing too. The hotel & the tea room itself is also very beautiful & picturesque. All the staff here were super friendly from the guys at the door, to every staff member who walked by our table. They were all super attentive, helpful, and chatty. This is also a great place for anyone who's never been to afternoon tea before as they really guide you through and explain how everything works. Highly recommend!
Wow! This was a fabulous afternoon tea experience. I did a lot of research for our trip to London, and I feel that St. Ermin’s tea lounge afternoon tea is of high quality and taste for the price and still less $ than a lot of the famous/popular options. The service was also amazing. We loved every bite!Food: 5/5
Absolutely gorgeous setting for afternoon tea. If I could give 20 stars for service I would. Great tea selection and absolutely divine food. The freshly baked warm scones were an absolute treat. I recommend to anyone visiting Westminster!Food: 5/5
One of the best Afternoon Tea you can have in London. The tea lounge is lovely, friendly and impressive staff. The food was delicious and the Masala Chai Tea the best tea I have ever tasted.Food: 5/5
We were quite disappointed when we asked a refill of the sandwiches. No refills. And we found it quite strange the scones were served after everything was finished. Quite a different experience of a British afternoon tea.Food: 3/5
Met the pastry chef. They have beautiful and wonderful staff! I was having a bad day that day but the entire experience did turn it around. A friend I was traveling with was mean! But the staff made it the overall experience truly WONDERFUL! I ended my day with such an amazing experience and I don’t usually use the word amazing lightly. Kudos to the wonderful staff, great service and great food.
So happy to have found this place! I was discouraged by the price tag of so many nice afternoon tea places and didn't want to spend £100 per person and was thrilled that St. Ermin's was 1/2 that! The hotel lobby and tea lounge are BEAUTIFUL and is located close to Westminster Abbey. I'd recommend having a reservations, they were full and had to turn people away. My GF items were served separate from the regular items and they had a clear understanding of GF needs. The staff was attentive and even asked if we'd like our picture taken before we dug into the goodies. We were all full and couldn't even finish what was brought to us. They do not refill things other than the tea though I can't imagine you'd need it!
We had a good afternoon tea at St. Ermin's! Due to some last minute scheduling, we were able to book a slot later on in the same day. When we got to the lounge, they were not aware of our booking. Despite the tea lounge being less than 50% full, they sat us outside of the lounge in the hallway. We were disappointed at the service and seating initially, but the food and tea made up for that. We also had a lovely male server later on who gave us further travel recommendations for the rest of our trip, but we didn't catch his name!
