Was only at Stanley Square for a bit because had lunch there. Nice and clean place. Parking os nearby and is reasonably priced

Visited Stanley Square twice in a short period and used 2 different cafes. Both were very good and the area was very good. I used the public toilets and was quite shocked to see the graffiti on the back of the door. Considering the atmosphere felt is that of an up and coming progressive area, it is completely i incongruent.

Google Maps needs to refresh the photos for his listing as this shopping centre underwent a major revamp a couple of years ago so many of the photos no longer reflect what it's now like.  It's now full of slightly upmarkets bars, restaurants and cafes although sadly Greens, which was owned by celeb chef Simon Rimmer recently closed down.  There's a small indoor section which is home to one of my favourite shops anywhere in GET Books.  The only slight downside is that because it's now largely dominated by eateries rather than shops on the occasions I've been there it's been a bit quiet as there isn’t a great deal of passing trade.  People sat in bars, cafes and restaurants don’t walk around much.  On my last visit a new cinema had appeared in the corner were WH Smith used to be which should attract more people.

Lots of new shops and eateries opening.nUPDATE:  improvement work mostly carried out now and looking good with led accent lighting set in the paving in the centre of the square. They should have gone the whole hog and made it partly covered outside for people wanting to consume drinks or snacks outside the eateries especially considering the English weather.
