Our first visit to Rainhill and tried this restaurant out, great selection of dishes both standard and out of the ordinary. We really enjoyed our meal, flavoursome, nicely presented, and not at all greasy. Staff were lovely and decor was crisp and clean.
@thespiceinn Liverpool What we ordered: Chicken tikka masala Chicken korma Honey chicken Rai Puri chicken and pineapple Thoughts One of our favourite curry houses in Liverpool. The korma here is pretty much unbeatable. If you love a thick, creamy curry then this is a must visit
We had our Christmas day lunch here.staff were lovely and friendly. We left without our phone and had to drive back. Was retrieved back to us safely after I rang Sadik The owner All in all, nice service. Was costly but worth saving the pennies. And hard labour of preparation cooking ext ext ext. Vegetarian options: Yes to all above.
Ordered a delivery at the weekend.A chicken and Lamb Korma. The meats were tender and well cooked. However the sauce was so bland it was basically tasteless.I’d like to say we’ve eaten in and had takeaway before and it’s constantly excellent. So you can imagine our disappointment at the total lack of taste. I assume the food is usually tasted before being dispatched,im guessing our meals weren’t sampled or the sampler had a heavy cold and took a punt about the taste!.I’m certain had someone in the kitchen tried it,it wouldn’t have left the kitchen in that state. I’d like to reiterate that the food has always been lovely previously and we will try again in the future.
Joint Best curry house within 20 miles. Food just tastes that little bit special. Good price as well. Always feel at home.
1st time last night and so glad I give it a go. Only had a takeaway but food was delicious. Been to lots of Indian restaurants some really good ones and this is up there with them. Nan, Bhaji, Curry and rice plentiful and soooo nice. Will try the restaurant next time has it looked spotless and warming, ideal to try some other delights from the menu. Also, pub next door with lots of choice on draught, no brainer.
We had a very nice evening at the Spice Inn . Excellent food and attentive service with a nice bit of banter with the staff . Planning our next visit soon .Food: 5/5
For years Indian has been my favourite food but for 12 months now I've become less interested due to not enjoying the food that has been served to me. Indian food is rarely bad, but it can be very average. Eat at the Spice Inn yesterday, been many times before but not for a few years and have never written a review. The food was incredible. Won't be going anywhere else any time soon and my taste for Indian food is BACK!
Lovely food and great service, recommend royal Bombay king prawn, fabulous!
Delicious Indian food, friendly staff. Well worth a visit.Food: 4/5
