Best to do some research on the offers and combine the train ride with perhaps the Groombridge gardens. The train ride was not as long as we had anticipated.... we got there early for the steam engine train ride. We managed to get some nice pics of the engine.

Met santa on this occasion. Nice ride on the train. Would have preferred to see the steam engine pull in rather then the diesel but cant have it all.

Lovely old trains and carriages. But very short track with hardly any views at all, which is a shame. 4 miles is not sufficient for the dining experience evening.

Great place to visit, good Thumper too!!! The buffet car was great, and Cameron was very helpful too! Because of him I placed a 2nd order. Good engine shed too .

Awesome Railway, the volunteers' work their hardest to keep the train running throughout the year. Steam heat is a great addition in the cold weather. Bar car 'Kate' serves a range of Hot and cold drinks. With evening and afternoon dinning trains, defiantly somewhere I would recommend to anyone!
