Our day was amazing. We , as adults, had a great time, and our son enjoyed it as well so much. Friendly staff. Shame that such places don't have more donations from cities and councils to preserve such a part of history. It's definitely worth visiting. Price wise, it was super reasonable, I would even say that tickets were cheap for what you get.

Great day out. Fantastic little railway.nClean tidy coaches to ride on , educational with history and photographs displayed at all stations and helpful staff.  Plenty of places for food and drinks and a working buffet coach fully staffed.  Took the offer of a 10% discount for food  offered  in the pub at Groombridge.  Just show your train ticketnDefinitely worth a visit and value for money.

Excellent Heritage Railway. Great train trips with Diesel and Steam Locomotives.nThere's also plenty of different events for rail enthusiasts and/or just those looking for something different with a train theme. Cream tea trains, Whisky trains, murder mystery etc.nnTrain ride is pleasant. A nice way to spend a few hours or longer.nThe trains do about 4 or 5 round trips. A good way to spend a few hours.

The volunteers here are amazing! It is by far the friendliest railway I've been too, everyone here is so welcoming. You can really tell that they enjoying being there. The railway itself has some stunning views all the way along. There are so many events held throughout the year, catering for just about anyone and everyone. I could not recommend this place anymore, it is definitely worth a visit and you will not be disappointed
