Foot local type pub. No sticky tables here. Kept clean and tidy with a local pubtype atmosphere and good freshly made food at sensible prices. Never been disappointed and we visit fairly often.

Had an 'accidental' stumble in here last week whilst walking the hounds on a lovely day! Hadnt taken money with us but thankfully they take contactless. Great little garden and well maintained play area for kids. We ordered lunch and our 4 year old had chicken nuggets which were proper fresh chunks of chicken and cooked well. We both had a burger which although nice (and nothing wrong with it) to me had an odd taste which I cant put my finger on. It wasnt unpleasant exactly just didnt taste quite right. However it wouldnt stop me going back there, the food was freshly cooked and not a bad price. Nice little place :)

This place needs a severe shot in the arm.  Dated, dowdy, dreary and dogs.  This is one of those venues that allows their doggy friends in.  And this apparently, includes allowing the stinking things to sit on the furniture!!!  And all the while, they actually serve food.  This was my first and last visit to what should be a prime pub/restaurant.  Staff were friendly.

UPDATE:  Met my pal and his wife here on Sunday...wasn't exactly looking forward to it, but her parents live about 100m from this venue.

Somehow the place seemed cleaner and fresher and although there were a few dogs...at least none were sitting on furniture and being hand fed by their owners.  VERY busy and obviously well supported.  Average age was probably 60+.

Still more visible twattoos, than in an English Premiership changing room.

Large car park, free WiFi and live sports.

Great friendly, cozy local pub that has a large selection of drinks and excellent food.

Went there years ago and has obviously had a change of owner. Not a quiet and easy going place as it used to be. Seems to be a hang out for 18-30's. Decided not to eat there particularly as the eating area was empty...menu not great either.
