The Smoking Goat is an atmospheric cafe/bar housed in a mid 1700's former bank vault.
Best quality craft beers, wines and malt whiskies are plentiful along with top quality fresh food produced on the premises without the use of freezers or microwaves.

cosy basement bar tucked in alleyway

Great new beer garden, well set up for social distancing, staff fun and attentive, good stock of beers and spirits at reasonable prices. Worth a visit

Lovely, friendly pub in a uniquely rustic environment. Ayr desperately needs a place like this. Even the walls in the gents' toilets are decorated with pure creativity! The alcohol selection is superbly varied and drinks are very reasonably-priced.

Amazing pub love it really lovely to sit in one of the booths with a glass of red. It's totally unusual and not like other pubs. It's a must for pubs to go to.

Warm welcome with attentive service. Popped in for one quick drink stayed two hours!
