A lovely afternoon with great cocktails good food and fab service! I ordered the Jambalaya which came with a generous amounts of chicken and chorizo pieces. The cocktails were delicious and came with fun accessories or in cute containers. We were recommended the Watermelon cocktail by our server, who although not 18 and unable to drink the cocktails just yet, promoted watermelon cocktail due to the bottle it was served in! Thank you Lily! The interior is beautiful with lots of ambient lighting, the only suggestion would be to hoover the fake grass outside as there were a few bits of debris woven in. Overall a wonderful afternoon!
We had bottomless brunch. Food was lovely but service wasn't great. Had to keep going to find staff to order drinks. It was really quiet in there as well and plenty of them standing around.
The staff here are very friendly. Great choice of 2 for 1 cocktails. The decor is fantastic and looks great. Seating indoors and outdoors. A great place to stop by and have a few cheeky cocktails!
So we went for dinner around 7:30 The chicken feast was delicious But the nachos was bad and costs 9£ The service was terrible food took so long and there was only 2 people working there. Was hard to find any one to help with our order
We came here last minute for a work do after we were let down by revs across the road. The staff managed to fit in a table of 8 and we had a brilliant night because of it. I couldn't thank Zoe, Dom, Beth, Abbey and Kat for saving the day and being brilliant hosts. We will be booking our next work do here and advising that others do the same. Slug & Lettuce Bristol, you should be proud of the impressive team you have working for you.
The staff where very friendly. We had a sharing platter which arrived quickly and was tasty. We left a bag of shopping, when we called later to see if it had been handed in the staff had kindly put it to one side for us. Thanks Lilly and Dom, we will see you soon
A group of 15 of us went for bottomless brunch - we pre booked it and everything went amazing! We had drinks when we needed it we had a lot but the staff were very accommodating and kept filling us up - the manager came over and even said we brought the vibes! Love this place xx
I booked the cocktail making masterclass here for my sister’s hen party. We arrived at 2.50 for the 3pm class. We were ignored by staff, whilst we waited by the bar, when I eventually found a staff member and let them know we’d arrived for the masterclass. He pointed to the 2 tables and said “it doesn’t start till 3, but you can sit there.” We were left without any service. We had to ask for Prosecco that should have been given on arrival & were given one bottle, not enough for 12 people! The toilets were disgusting and there was vomit everywhere. One of our group informed staff immediately, and when she went to the toilet over an hour later, they were still in exactly the same state. We had to go over the road to use the toilets in Revolution, as there was only one cubicle that was fit for use here. The class started late, but when it eventually did, the actual making of the cocktails was okay. I booked a buffet package upgrade with our masterclass & had to ask for the food to be brought out, as none arrived. When it eventually did, all that came was food from the standard package; nachos and chips. We were sat on 2 tables of 6. One table was given 2 bowls of nachos, and 2 bowls of chips, but the other table only received one of each. Which was nowhere near enough for 6 people. The jagerbomb train never happened either, but at this point we were just wanting to leave anyway. The staff were very dismissive and the whole experience was a total disappointment. The manager tried to make out like she was doing us a favour, by saying we didn’t have to pay the extra £65 for the buffet upgrade, that we didn’t receive in the first place. She eventually disappeared off, then came back to agree that we did not need to pay the remaining balance left to pay after the deposit, which was appreciated, but still doesn’t make the experience & service that we received any better. We were all really looking forward to it and had had it booked for a long time and it was a complete let down.
Went last night for a friends birthday. We were sat on a long table by the door and all the stools were extremely wobbly and the tables weren’t much better. The toilets are FILTHY. Tissue paper absolutely everywhere and the main area isn’t much better with dirt all over the floor. Drinks were okay nothing special. We ordered shots and my friend sliced her lip open on a shot glass that had a chunk out of the rim. I went to the bar to tell them with not so much as an apology. A man came over with what seemed to be an accident book and took her details and gave her a couple of free drinks. No first aid was given or offered whatsoever even though she was bleeding constantly. Don’t go here. Stick to s&l on the harbour.
Slug and Lettuce was amazing, Lewis our waiter was the best ! He was so caring and friendly and very funny ! Definitely would recommend best bar / restaurant in Bristol. Absolutely incredible. Would come here again 100%
