Visited this large ‘Spoons in Chorley a few times now, most recently on 27th December.nnInside, it’s a modern building with the standard offering - a large bar, multiple levels and many gaming machines. You like to see it and there it is. For a drink, pints of Corona, a good lounging lager, although I wish they stop the lime in the glass thing. It’s weird.nnThis is a pub that, weirdly, feels ‘smoky’ in the old style, despite smoking in pubs having been banned now for 20 years. I think it has that vibe because it’s very dark inside.nnDidn’t eat, but would have had three small plates - the loaded chips, chicken and chicken. That’s a classic. I used to like the breakfast, but the idea of flabby bacon puts me off these days.nnExcellent selection of gaming machines in here - won £60 on Temple of the Maya, put £30 of it back into Fortune Favours the Brave, Big Fishing Fortune and the Irish game. I once won pots on the Irish game in this pub, now that was a special occasion. I think of that sometimes, as I’ve not won pots on that game ever again…nnOverall, worth a visit if you’re in Chorley and looking to waste some time.
a very good place for friends gathering, £2.99 for traditional breakfast, + hot drinks £1.71 .nyou must find a good space for you and your friends in these 2 stories cafe. I definitely prefer upper floor for a bit silence. Sitting besides the Large glass window seats are very comfortable and relaxing though the day i visited is cloudy. i strongly believe it’s even better in a sunny warm weather.
Visited while on our stay in Chorley. It is in a lovely newly regenerated area of the town and is situated near shops with the Flat Iron Car park the closet to. A big spoons once inside on 2 floors. Ordered our breakfast. Waited longer than normal and it arrived and as always is as delicious as always. Lots of seating areas on both floors. There is a lift so disabled access is catered for. A nice spoons with a relaxed atmosphere. The only problem is the parking as you are kind of forced to pay for daytime parking and with it being a 'short stay' you only get 2 hours but at £1 you can't complain. It is free to park after 5pm. Not a bad spoons at all and worth a visit if in Chorley
Visited for quick lunch and drink with my family. The atmosphere was great, staff were very friendly and the food was very nice. Kids gave their pizza and chicken nuggets 4.5 out of 5. My fish and chips was lovely. Prices doe everything really reasonable.nnGreat place to stop in for a nice meal and few drinks. They do ulimitied top ups to tea/hot chocolate and coffee so a great place to go for a catch up with friends as well.nnDefinitely make an effort to pop in here more often.
can't grumble at the price but food was average and not very hot. We both had full english breakfast and the beans were barely warm. The rest was ok though
