Popped in twice over our weekend stay in Southport. Our first visit was late on the Saturday night for a last beer before bed. Then for breakfast on the Sunday morning.nAll good..
The place was ok, a little packed but we managed to find a table for 3 adults and 4 children.nnIt's as you would expect a weatherspoons to be. The kids had cheese pizza which was brilliant. The service staff were friendly and nice and quick to give us our orders.nnWhen we got home my daughter said it really hurt her ears and it was very loud, to which I can agree it was loud.
The staff are fantastic. Will give them a quick out of 10. Young in the most part and finding their way. Are polite and attentive towards customers. Managers helpful and faultless as their staff.nnFriendly establishment and well frequented by locals.nnIf any faults, it lies with people and oft from out of town, who expect to much or no idea of the old school rules of pub ethics and ethos.nnMy greatest of regards and deepest of respects to all of the staff. Why would we go anywhere else?nnWe are on a short break in Southport staying at the Travelodge on Lord Street - also excellent.nnWetherspoons is just a few minutes walk away for our breakfast and evening meal.nnWe don't drink but if we did, they have all the best brews at bargain prices.nnThe food is most tasty. For £2.79 you get a muffin deal with sausage, egg and cheese.nnPlus unlimited coffee.nnIf there is a better deal anywhere we have never found it!nnAll through our stay our food was delivered to our table via the Wetherspoons' app.nnFantastic.nnNo queuing, delivery quickly and piping hot!nnWould we recommend Wetherspoons? Absolutely!nnWould we go again?nnYes tonight!nnDear Mr. Tim Wetherspoon,nThank you for all you do to bring quality and value to us.nnWe appreciate you and hope your wonderful business continues to thrive!
Horrible .....nI've asked for a half roasted chicken with salad, that is what I always eat at weatherspoon all over England. This was always very healthy. They told me that they don't serve that any more.nThen, I asked for a whole day full English Breakfast at 1.40 pm. What they served me was horrible. First of all, no bread, no toast, no tomatos, no mushrooms ..... They told me that this was a Whole Day Full English Breakfast ... and not even a slice of bread .... they told me that they don't serve toast for lunch, then the sausages were all soggy, the bacon was disgusting .... after eating at this weatherspoon I had a terrible stomach ache.nPeople at the counter were nice and friendly, but the management of this weatherspoon is a shame. I've never had such a bad experience at weatherspoon before.nThis was the first time at this weatherspoon in Southport, and ANYMORE.nI DON'T RECOMMEND THIS WEATHERSPOON TO ANYONE!
