Hidden gem in the southwest England. So glad we came. We had the 7 courses tasting menu. It was absolutely amazing experience with highlight followed by another highlight. The food has complex layers of different flavour and texture, with influence from various cultures..Japanese, Chinese, Indian, South American, yet surprisingly beautifully blended together. My personal favourite is the strawberry desert with basil sorbet..impressive piece of art. Thank you Bruce!

Best restaurant I have ever tried in the UK! The food is absolutely amazing, original, generous and not expensive compared to the quality. The place has a nice atmosphere and the chef is very nice and accessible.

Absolutely fantastic food - we had the 5 course menu at v reasonable 45 quid for a bit of a treat!  Every dish was interesting and delicious and the service was v friendly - a lovely evening :-)

Ate here yesterday for dinner, excellent food, very impressive. The quality really shines through - all elements are made to order on the premises by the chef who clearly has a passion for food, delivering a very high standard indeed. Well worth the price for the high quality and it's not much more expensive than other local pubs.  Definitely worth a visit if in the area.

Some of the best seafood I have ever been served. Choose a starter, main and dessert or treat yourself to the taster menu with or without the paired drinks flight. All the more amazing given that Mr Rennie prepares and cooks everything on his own. Put this restaurant on your "must visit" list.
