The Ship Inn, beautifully situated at the edge of Stonehaven's picturesque harbour, was built in 1771. The Inn was acquired by Simon Cruickshank in May 2004. Mr Cruickshank has many years experience in the licensed trade.

We stayed only for lunch but the food was great. Homemade soup was delicious and I definitely wanted another bowl. Portion size is good. Prices was comparative with the rest of the local area.

Had a lovely lunch today, halumi starter and main fish sliders were amazing. Lovely food and setting. Thanks so much will definitely be back.

The food was excellent and the barkeeps knew how to do a good pour. However the service was terribly slow. Beautiful view of the harbor to keep you occupied.
