Nice clean dog friendly pub but slightly disappointed in the Sunday lunch. Advertised at £9.95 on there fb page but obviously an old menu as we were charged £13.95 a head. We had the beef but it was more like sandwich beef than a beef joint. Was nice but not worth the price.

Popped in for a pint while we waited for fish and chips takeaway from across the road. The welcome and the beer were wonderful and the chat with the resident locals was equally good. Was only here for half an hour but would definitely come back again if I’m in the area!
Called in today for a drink during a dog walk today. Lovely clean pub , nice bar staff. However we couldn't stay for a second drink due to the fowl language from other customers in the outside drinking area while I was with my children.
Nice pub ,not the same as recent years heard they rip of the holidaymakers by charging us more £10 for 2 pints ridiculous staff not as good either, weatherspoons in the future!!!
Lovely pub, good was nice. Didn't expect haute cuisine like some of the reviews. Food was nice and beer was even better. Atmosphere was best yet.

Great local pub. Has had a good makeover and looks lovely inside and out. Has a good outside seating area with shelter, a beer garden out the back, a generous bar area and a small restaurant area. The staff are very friendly/polite and make you feel welcome. The food menu is a perfect pub menu with good quality freshly cooked food. DOG FRIENDLY
Pub was lovely, clean and cosy. Great location, just few minutes from the beach. Pub is dog friendly so it was great news for us and our pups. We had Sunday roast there. Mains were not too bad, large portions, loads of meat. But vegetables weren't good, carrots haven't been honey glazed like menu says, neither broccoli was cooked very well. Roasted potatoes were deep fried. And gravy had way too much dried rosemary in it, could not taste anything else but rosemary. If you like to use it, use couple fresh branches for whole gravy pot next time. Desserts were very disappointing. Small, expensive and did not taste amazing. You could tell that desserts are home made, but they needed a lot more refinement. That salted caramel brownie needs to go from your specials board, if you don't have it in stock. Staff and service were nice and welcoming. We were told that roast in this pub is amazing, but I would say this pub is lovely and food rather need improvement.
Found this place after long walk along beach from Yarmouth,really relieved as I was very thirsty,minimal drink selection,pricey compared to some places but definitely worth the money to keep it here as a much needed resource. Nice beer garden to rear . PeacefulService: 4/5
