My wife and I ate dinner here twice in three days while staying locally. It was amazing to be able to walk to a pub and enjoy good food. All the staff were absolutely lovely, one of the friendliest pubs I've been to in ages. Service was also efficient and helpful. Portions were very generous, reminding me of country pubs further north! I would have been happy with smaller portions and a bit more attention to presentation. The chips gorgeous with my homemade burger could have fed three people. The seafood chowder was the best dish we had, and again generous portions, we were glad that we asked to share one between us. The wine list was limited, but not unusual for pubs. We sat in the dog-free section on the first evening, and with the dogs on the second, having forgotten that it was a segregated pub. Our fault for not checking. The pub is right on the main coast road, but not at all noisy while we were there. Would definitely return.
Thank you so much to Linden, Lucy, Kate and the chefs at The Ship inn this evening. A perfect setting, impeccably clean with the most delicious menu. Service was impeccable and staff very efficient and friendly. A wonderful evening, gorgeous meal and a fabulous ambience in every way. Great parking facilities and outdoor area for the warmer months too.
Had Sunday lunch today 28/05/2023 with my family in one of the pods as it was our daughters birthday. Lovely meals all round including deserts. Loved the app which enables you to order on your smartphone without leaving your table. Will definitely be returning. Food & drinks: Lovely food and drinks with a good selection from the menus.
Quite easy to say .. simply the best.. better than all the rest. Food is both tasty and not complicated. Staff are the friendliest and most helpful you could find and ideally located for a stop off or a couple nights relaxing in lovely rooms. It's a must go to place whenever we are in the area.Rooms: 5/5

Partner booked us a table. Chips were brown, clearly cooked then re-heated later. Staff were rushed off their feet lady asked how our food was whilst walking off, too busy to actually get our thoughts and opinions, left half the meal and very expensive for what it is.Service: 2/5
I love this pub ,it's so welcoming ,the food is amazing I had the fish pie last week delicious followed by the cheesecake omg that was outstanding !! They have a great gin menu and the staff were very accommodating also dog friendly ..a must as we were having a short break away with our dog . Absolutely loved it
This is a nice pub in a quiet village location on the Norfolk coast. We only stopped for a couple of drinks but the food looked great. We'd definitely come again if we were in the area, probably for something to eat this time.Service: 5/5
Just popped in for a pint and a snack/rest on a long walk. Good beer, friendly staff and service. Enjoyed sitting in garden, tucked away behind pub, in unseasonably warm sunshine.Location: 5/5
Enjoyed every meal we had there. Good table service. Did not operate as well as a traditional pub, but beer was well kept and bar staff pleasant. Dog very welcome
