Fantastic place to stay for the night. Cosy and clean room. Nice shower. Right on the harbour and short walk into town. Breakfast was good as was the meL I had in the pub. I had prawns to start very tasty and well cooked. Gammon egg, pineapple fresh pineapple too and chips, really good. Sticky toffee pud which was covered in sauce just as I like it. Nice atmosphere in pub and friendly service. Would certainly stay and eat again when next up visiting. Rooms: Clean cosy and good shower Food & drinks: Good value and very well made.
Had lunch here today. It was really busy for an early Monday afternoon. I had breaded fish.. it was amaaaaazing! Hubby had Macaroni. Quite creamy compared to regular mac cheese but he enjoyed it. Service was fine.Location: 5/5
Looked in for a lunch at this watering hole after a walk along to the local castle. Staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to help, had a smashing lunch and refreshments. Food was excellent, will certainly return next time I'm visiting.......
Great food right on the harbour side. The views are fantastic. The mixed grill I was just not in a fish mood was a protein busting plateful.

I can't express enough how much we enjoyed our stay at The Ship Inn. The facilities, the food, the people were absolutely fabulous. We cherished our time with Debbie, Georgia and Ryan, who were so friendly, helping and lovely. Our room with a view was perfect. And sitting outside the next morning with a latte and a book was a great way to start the next part of the journey. Looking forward to a return.

Great location on the harbour front. Outside seating when the weather is nice. Food generally very good, and would get 5 stars except that it's fairly expensive for a quick bar lunch. Atmosphere very good, and the staff are very nice. Recommended.
