Another visit on our last night, so bitter sweet. Service was BRILLIANT, even when I was a bit of a prat ordering sorry. Food as always was great and I love the atmospheric bling!
Fabulous 3-course meal at The Ship this evening Haggis & black pudding bon bons were so good as were the king prawns in garlic butter. For mains, we had the fish & chips and daube of beef. The fish was beautifully fresh & crispy batter breaded is also available, and the beef was so melt-in-the-mouth tender. Good-sized portions. Pudding we had apple crumble & custard, and the trio of mini puddings. Both fabulous, and so tasty. Service was friendly and not overbearing. Meals were served hot, on hot plates, with a reasonable gap between courses. Best of all under £70 including soft drinks. We will definitely be back.
Wonderful meal. The decor is lovely and the music perfect, with the staff very attentive but not pushy or intrusive. We very much enjoyed a first class meal and would definitely recommend.

Lovely restaurant. good food. pleasant staff Kid-friendliness: Helpful staff for kids
Food fantastic, everything ordered was cooked to perfection. Welcoming staff even though we were not well dressed by any means having just walked around Kinghorn all day. Kids were welcome too. Well worth booking ahead as this place is very popular and its obvious why!
Fabulous place, food amazing and staff first class, friendly and welcoming Food: 5/5
Very good meal, excellent ambience and just the right feel for a pre-Christmas meal with friends
Excellent food and great service in comfortable surroundings. Dietary restrictions: One of our party has an allergy to garlic and they were happy to offer a different sauce on a dish to make it suitable for them.
Evening meal for 3 couples. All very satisfied with the service friendly and efficient and the quality of the food. Nice atmosphere in this small dining space. Starters were enjoyed. Haggis bonbons, Cullen skink, melon platter. The daub of beef was tender and complemented well by a red wine sauce. The ladies enjoyed chicken with haggis stuffing and pepper sauce. The sticky toffee pudding was excellent and the trio of profiteroles so so tasty. A memorable evening as we had not dined it like this for 20 months!
