Last minute booking!!!! Staff absolutely amazing and friendly also very helpful. Food is second to non quick service attention to detail my partner even received a rose to accompany her valentines meal along with the delectable food and complimentary prosecco. Always have live music/bands on. Dont miss the opportunity to come here or you will regret it!!!
A lovely, freshly cooked meal in a comfortable setting. The food was hot, tasty and reasonably priced. Some decent vegetarian options for my husband, and I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken and mushroom pie. Will definitely visit again xx
Admittedly the shots are good, but we went for a drink today before going home and was told that they were closing an hour and a half before they were supposed to, despite no mention of such. We have been here a few days and most of the days we haven't been able to have any cocktails because of no staff which while unfortunately is fair, but the live music on the weekend was too loud and fairly terrible sounding and it took over the bar that you couldn't get a drink if you wanted. Would not recommend and apparently neither would anyone else as the place is not popular and always mostly empty. Also the beer is not well kept and was full of sediment.
Delicious seafood with flair, served by attentive waiting staff in a lovely well distanced alfresco setting. Perfect. You must try this understated gem.
Been here a few times this week and a lovely welcome from both the land lady and her team ..... Lyn on the bar particularly pleasant, food was Really nice too, will definitely visit again
One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time Prices are very good for the quality We where lucky to be able to sit outside in the sunset
Amazing Sunday Roast Dinner; Adequate portions with generous sauce and Followed by Simply awesome Apple Crumble as dessert was a perfect end the getaway I will strongly recommend to have a meal here and the hospitality was 5 Star We would simply travel on a day trip, enjoy the local walks and have awesome food ... Best wishes Sam & Avi
Quite possibly the best homemade chips I've ever had ! Dogs not allowed inside the pub but made welcome outside with several clean dog bowls and a barrel of water.
Had a nice welcome and a good selection of beers in a covered beer garden. Quiet when we visited but can’t fault the experience we had.
Whilst holidaying in Wales near Aberystwyth we came across this hidden gem stunning veiws from pub carpark, Inside is fantastic nautical theme which passed over on to the menus the staff were brilliant, friendly, funny the selection of lagers ciders beers was unreal and very tasty the food was A1 fresh and delicious and quite a good selection even for children the fruit crumble pudding with salted caramel ice cream and butterscotch cream was sensational and probably the best desert ive had in a long time. And i believe fantastic sunsets A MUST VISIT IF DOWN THIS WAY IT WONT DISAPOINT
