Had a great meal here. First time we have visited the pub. Food was excellent. They also do afternoon teas. Gonna have to book soon.

Lovely evening with family. Wonderful food and service was excellent we will certainly be back when visiting again. Thanks also for the Scotch Egg and salad takeaway for our travels next day. The haddock gratin was wonderful and the oreo mess was to die for.
Lovely pub, all the staff are polite, courteous and accommodating and the food was absolutely fantastic! It's also a great pub for families as there is a children's play area as well. Would definitely recommend and go again!

We enjoyed Lunch here, Sausage Sandwich, Soup of the day, Prawn Jacket Potato, all very nice & Responsible priced. We'll be back. Small Car park, but plenty of room for diners inside & out. And when finished why not a stroll round Coalhouse Fort, up the road
Fantastic service. The waitress/bartender was very accommodating to me and my family. The outside was great but we chose to eat inside due to the benches being unfit for pregnant partner. Food was fantastic and the breakfast reward card is a fantastic incentive. Only the minor fly was a nuisance while we were eating but thats to be expected considering the room and external temperature outside.
Lovely food at very reasonable prices and engaging, friendly staff.
