Beautiful food. Good value. Nice staff

Can't fault this place, down here for the night, work commitments and called in to dine, staff were very friendly and efficient, some of the best customer service I've received, not pushy or overwhelming, food was excellent I had poppadoms for Starters and the Balti Chicken Jalfrezi, well worth a visit if in the area..Food: 5/5

Absolutely delicious takeout delivered very speedily this evening. Lovely business with wonderful ethics of giving back to the community & supporting local charity for disabled children which is why I started using them after seeing them doing this at woodstreet Jazz concert in the summer. We love this place. Highly recommend. The only negative is that sometimes they do not pay attention to allergens so I have had issues where I’ve been advised something is gluten free when in fact it isn’t..

Such a poor curry. Had a chicken makhani and completely flavourless and very watery. Small pieces of chicken. Wouldn’t go back. Friends had lamb and very chewy.

Yummy.  Great service, great food .   As a Vegi not normally much to choose from, but very impressed with meat free choices.  The Vegetable Marsala was really tasty.  Was recommended by a friend so only been once so far, but will not hesitate to return.

We have used the Shahin on and off over the last five years or so. Eat in or take away, it has always been very good.  My last two takeaways have been pretty poor if I am honest.  Last night, I ordered a Chicken Biryani at £9.55 that was bland in taste and the Chicken was like it had been cooked and re heated. Drier than Paul Gascoigne's wine cellar.  I ordered mixed pickles at £0.80 per portion and received 1 tiny pot of mango chutney.  I ordered poppadums' x 2 portions and received 3, stale and not 2 x 2 or more fresh. Listed as poppadum's more than one on menu at £0.80 per portion  A portion of butterfly prawn for £6 that consisted of just two small prawns..?  A Portion of onion bhaji £4.25 that was 4 very tiny balls of tasteless overly fried and dry crunchy orange stuff.  Meat Samosa x 2 that again were  tiny 3" triangles, tasteless and for £4.25  Special Rhaitha for £2.55 that was a tray of what looked like cold PVA glue and bits of cucumber. It tasted weird and there was certainly nothing special about it. Was almost like it had been squeezed out of an animal and left to go cold.  An onion salad for £0.80 that was again lacking in any punch of flavour and almost seemed as if it had been around for days  Received a vegetable curry that I did not order and tasted like it was off of someone else's plate or left overs that were just given to us.  £30 spent and a Macy D would have offered more sunshine and nutrition. These days businesses need to be sharp. Costs are going through the roof and customers are key to survival..  This is one customer that will never be returning

Great food - welcomed by very smart staff who all gave excellent service throughout.  Very professional, yet very friendly - I couldn't fault anything.  Highly recommended.

Food was okay but nothing special. Reasonably priced. Very slow to take our order despite being very quiet. We went there as it's close to the Holroyd pub where we were going to catch a gig. Would eat here again if in the area for a specific reason, but there are many better Indian restaurants if food is the reason for going out.

Fabulous as always! Thanks for the lovely food and excellent service. We'll be back.
