A beautiful building that represents the Welsh Parliament. There is the typical amount of security you would expect at a government building to get in, so make sure you are prepared for that, and don't pack too heavily.nThe staff was friendly and helpful and more than willing to answer any question related to the functioning of the Welsh Parliament. They let you into the viewing area so can easily see the chamber, and explain the process overall. There is a gift shop and cafe as well.nOverall, a nice to place to visit and learn a little bit about the Wales devolved government system.
I visited the Senedd on a Saturday so it was nice and quiet, security were friendly yet thorough.nnOnce inside I visited upstairs where they had some nice history information and a cafe.nnThe staff member was polite and prompt in not only taking my order but providing me with my coffee.nnI was able to enjoy the peace whilst I did some digital work and the coffee was nice at £3.nnI will be visiting here again.
Really modern building. You can visit it to learn more about Welsh politics and the evolution of the country over the years. It is interesting even if you are coming as a tourist/visitor, because the staff is really friendly and helpful. They will try to explain everything you want and also small exhibitions can give you a even better view of the status.nA very good nice thing is that the building is built with materials coming from Wales and with focus in the environmental sustainability.
Lovely guide, interesting visit. Plenty for kids, Duplo and making jellyfish. Nice cafe with lovely views.
The people in this building are very anti-cars. They have put 20mph everywhere to reduce carbon emissions, they've also refused to build the M4 relief road due to emissions, environmental reasons and others. So to fix the emissions issue, the people in this building collectively decided to buy an airport, which is the most polutive thing ever!!! Work out the reasoning of that?! They also nationalised the railway, however if you live in mid wales, then you cannot rely on the trains, EVER!!!!! Shrewsbury to Swansea is cancelled on a very regular basis! Don't have a car, then you are screwed!!! If you have a car, you are screwed.
