Great place, delicious food and friendly staff. A group of us visited this place for lunch on a Wednesday. I didn't expect it to be busy and it was. So I'd definitely recommend booking a table in advance. The food was fantastic. I had the fish butty which was served with coleslaw and fries and it was delicious. For dessert, I chose a cookie dough slice and again it was to die for. They have a very extensive menu so everyone's needs are pretty much catered for. Their cakes look amazing. My friend had the carrot cake and she loved it. They have milk alternatives like oat milk. It's not a cheap place but very reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly and attentive. There are baby change facilities. They have a kids menu and provide highchairs on request. There's on-street parking available - lots of room in fact. Parking: On-street parking only but lots of room available.
What a lovely place to stop for a drink, a snack or a meal. The location is fantastic with great views overlooking the beach and sea. The food was very tasty and served quickly by friendly staff. There is plenty of seating both indoors and outside in the fresh air. Parking is free on the road outside. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options Parking: Free parking on the road outside
Booked an itison voucher for 2 courses ,We found the staff friendly and helpful. We had an early dinner at 17.00pm and took the chicken skewers with side dishes and the Fish and chips both very tasty . we finished up with an ice cream . We had a good view at a table looking out to the sea .
EDIT: Having been so impressed on my last visit I was very disappointed with my breakfast on 26 May. What on God's earth is this?? Apparently its supposed to be scrambled egg. It was totally inedible and looked like something left in a waste bin after a No10 party!!!! I visited here at end of Jan 22 and was pleasantly surprised in the change since I'd visited pre lockdown. The food was delicious, the service was great and the place was buzzing with atmosphere.
Had a bacon roll, latte and orange with a great view. Quick service at. A good price, £9.50 Will be back again when I’m next in the area.
It was a nice evening. Went to celebrate a friends birthday and graduation. Helpful and kind staffs. I enjoyed the finger foods especially the sausage roll.Food: 4/5
Ignored at the door by three members of staff. A pleasant gentleman trying his best did come over and apologise and seat us. No one served us then for around 20 minutes. Two of us ordered the cooked breakfast which was £10.95 and one of our party ordered the French toast for £6.95. We were shocked when our plates came over. The cooked breakfasts were tiny with burnt bacon and a huge soggy mushroom, and the coffee was like hot milk. My friend's french toast was one slice of toast on a plate with burnt bacon on the top. Coffees supposed to be included with the cooked breakfasts but were added on to the bill. Service was absolutely shocking so no point in complaining. We will never be back and I don't ever recommend it to anyone. It's always has a terrible reputation in the Ferry and I'm afraid nothing has changed no matter who runs it. Why open a restaurant when you've no idea what you're doing.
Lovely views, staff very pleasant, very nice food and drinks - took a little while but was busy. Maybe a little more expensive but worth it overall.
Prime position on Broughty Ferry esplanade overlooking the river Tay estuary. We were quickly acknowledged and shown to a table, the order was taken and the food was excellent, superb coffee too. A good atmosphere in the restaurant with friendly staff. Very acceptable prices too. Well worth a visit, also the restaurant has a large outdoor seating area which was busy due to it being a beautiful sunny day.
We had a meal here ,the service was 1st class and the food was excellent.Food: 5/5
